Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Viewing String Limit...

Hey, I am making an RPG and I do not want to exceed the string limit because last time I went over it making Sorcery RPG and I lost some of the map. I have trigger viewer 1.06 and it has a part to view the strings but it says Total Strings Used: 1024 for every map that I look at. Once it said 954 when I opened my map but I can't get it to say this again. How can I accurately see how many strings I have used in my map. Also, am I correct in thinking that if I go over 1024 then the file is unable to be edited? Thanks for any insight.

Each map has 1074 strings i think, to check them use strigeditor in SF or SCMDraft 2.

1024 is the limit for a map. I just thought the Trigger Viewer could detect the amount of strings used....or maybe it just is not working for me.

Open the map in StarForge and go to the string editor, they're all numbered. If any numbers are skipped, that means they were deleted at some point. It should refill in order if you try to create new ones.

Thanks. Only 264 strings used so I am right on track.
