People are going to start complaining here why I set all the minerals back to zero, but letme explain first:
If you've bought something from the store and used it, its still in effect.
Bank is now disabled. You now get 8 minerals for every new post topic and poll (starcraft style).
I'm changing the prices of everything to be more fair. Since we're all starting from the beginning and not having billions of minerals worth of interest, its fair for everyone.
I'm balencing prices now.
If too many people complain here, I'll lock this news post. Honestly, we're a UMS map making site and that should be the primary reason your here. Minerals are just a fun offset, nothing more.
- MANY newcomers were complaining about how they didn't have minerals and people here had already 1,000,000
- The RPG Inferno system we once had allowed members to get thousands of minerals. It was extremely unfair and rigged
- Bank allowed everyone to get even MORE money
- Everything was priced based upon the rigged minerals

So.... what about your shadow and glow effect on your name? You couldn't have it without minerals.

All I'm conserned about is being able to sell it and have rigged minerals again (which you can't).
Thats why army was reset too.
Glows are about worth 350 posts now.

It had a bit to do with your contest, plus other factors. Actually, I was planning to do this when invision v2 was in, but then your contest prize would of been worth nothing. So I went on ahead and did it now instead.

Ok i think i get it, Correct me if im wrong but you didn't have a problem with the contest reward you just didn't want to have people get rewards for winning then turn around a take all of it away a little bit later.
I guess if you just take alot more from me you will have less complaints than if you take a littlebit more from alot more people. lol Well the 1000 mineral didn't really mean anything to me since it was slightly less than my dayly intrest. And I could fund the contest quicker than i could come up with bugs.
Well I guess i'll have to figure something else out for a prize, I think giveing away pride is kind of lame.

Now that you can't Put minerals in the bank..to collect interest...People(newbies who just post stuff saying "Wow thats great" or "Wow thats cool")will start doing a posting spree...to get alot of minerals its either attack people in Starcraft Armies or post alot...I see many, many problems with this....

I made a whole lot of posts before this that weren't "legal" anyways. We've gone through 2 news forums (one was forum news when site wasn't integrated with boards, and this one now) and a staff forum to go with it.
Plus I've made billions of news posts and test posts that shouldn't of counted.

Posting a lot is sooo much safer than Sc armies. But, then again SC armies gets more minerals.
