I remember, an old retired map maker once told me there is something in the stats, on like starforge and scmdraft that can make the range unlimited. To bad i cant rmember what it was =/

Units targetting 'Unit 2008' (at least I think it's 2008) can attack it from any range, although they only have infinite range when attacking that unit (they won't be able to attack other units from infinite range).

if your trying to download the map into original starcraft map. add .scm to the end of the name.

if your trying to open the map. just go into a map making program and open it from there instead of trying to open the map that you download like it is.

I made that map. wink.gif
It's pretty simple. In Starforge change a unit's ID number to 2008. When you play the map it will appear to be a Zergling, clicking on it will make the game crash. Units that attack ground will be able to attack this unit from far to the right. To make computer controlled units attack it just use an AI script like 'Send all units on random suicide missions'.

The range is limited and only works from one direction currently. You can attack it from 170 some tiles away.

Rename it after you download it.
