Actually its supposed to be original killzone and metroid prime IS fps.
Metroid Prime is not FPS. It's more like first person adventure.
Is Metroid like Halo? No. Is Metroid like Unreal? No. Is Metroid like Call of Duty? No.
It's actually closer to the Zelda series, if you look at the gameplay between it and Ocarina of Time, it's sorta similar.
For example, in both games, you need to go to a certain place to get some item which allows you to go to another place to get some item/weapon that allows you to do X action which allows you into another area where you get Y item which allows you somewhere else and you can use it to find more heart pieces/missle expansions/energy tanks/etc.
The controls are nothing that would work in a FPS situation...come on, you can friggen LOCK ON to the other person in metroid prime 2 multiplayer...skillful? oh yes indeed ;P
Anyway, it's a lot more than an FPS, and I really believe it shouldn't even be on the list.
