If I was not mistakened, were you not going to delete it because it "segragates" SeN? I have heard from someone I know, that it's still alive.

It will stay here. When we go to SENv5 there will be no HT forum. It is inactive and basically holds elitism. It does no harm to not delete it now because as I heard it holds no function right now.

Please show me where he said that he will delete it here. Yea, he doesn't like the idea and thats why there will be no HT forum in v5 wich I believe will be released pretty soon.

It's locked down... it's existance is worthless if no new posts can be created.
I'm thinking of using the topics and the forum itself for delete testing on senv5.

IP said it in his "Warning to all members" thing that was at the top of every page for a few days when he made his dramatic return.

IP will delete it when he feels like it. I still say it should be kept, so don't expect me to delete it anytime soon. Its completely invisible now. On that subject, I'm curious as to who ratted it out.

What always angered me was that nobody ever completely understood my intentions in creating it. The HT forum was my sanctuary, away from spam and flaming. If I recall correctly, I've only had to moderate one post in there during its entire existance. That's the admin's dream as far as I'm concerned. I never intended to see "elitist" come into play. Anyone who ever bragged about having access or making fun of someone else for not having it should not have been in that forum - that's not what the forum stands for. I would have gladly removed them if anyone said anything (nobody did, so I assumed it was well hidden). The great experiment has been foiled by those not involved in it, how ironic.

yea.... everyone is thinking that forum is a place where all admins and globol moderators and who is in it can go behind everyone elses back to plan something far out strange, instead of talking it out with everyone else.

Only people who you choose had access, people who you wanted there, those "good" people were speaking of. As I heard people does not get access to it for certain deed. That means that only people who YOU like get it. If thats not elitism, I'm a freaking brick

What do you say about the Staff Forum then?

The point is that it's closed, not even I can post in it. At first I thought that I still could see it because I was a Global, I thought normal members that had access couldn't see it.

We can't change the past, you guys already knew about it and this discussion already took place. The Admins and Staff are against deleting posts and threads, for several reasons, so the only place to keep them is in there. We could dump it all into the Null and set them to invisible, but then what? Will those posts be invisible to all but moderators?

The fact that I like someone makes them an elite person better than someone else? Why am I held at fault if you value my favor so much?

To be honest I don't value it at all. But The fact that those people get access to the "elite" forum certainly show that.

I also don't know why not having it would make you assume I don't like anyone. It means I don't like you a lot, that doesn't mean I don't like you. Everybody assumes the worst.

I didn't say that, merrell did. But tell me please, why people who you do like get higher privileges that normal members.

Please don't get me wrong about not valuing your favor, it's just that I don't care about it that much.

Because that creates a place where I feel equal to everyone else there and I'm not just an admin who's forced to do his job every second he spends on this website. The HT forum is where I figuratively kicked my shoes off and smoked my pipe.

Actually if you don't feel good at SEN, I don't thing you should run it, but thats just my opinion.

Besides, you could do it quite, without all that crap that we had there when a locked forum saying "only good people can view this" showed up. I have nothing agains that you have a little personal place, but you could do it way less public.

It was hidden a couple of days after it was created for just those reasons. It was almost forgotten until someone brings it up, such as in this topic.

Does it really matter anymore? The forum is locked, and it's soon to be deleted. What's done is done...
