Simple question can they unally with players, or at least look like they are attacking?

No one knows how, but we don't know if it's impossible.. so no one will answer you.
Players 9-12 are neutral, they can't attack. Unallying them with other players (which isn't possible) wouldn't make a difference.
You could use Deathknight's list about which players are automatically unallied to Players1-12. It's risky though, I almost never recomend using Players 13+, not even for this, because Player's 13+ ally status are permanent and won't change via triggers.
Some players are unallied with themselves. =P

I used to love doing that with Damnation666 back in patch 1.10.
In SCMDraft, you have the option of changing the stances of p1-12, but I don't know if it will crash SC, since I've never tried anything like that myself. and I'm pretty sure that any triggers that are owned by player 9+ won't work regardless.
also with some editors and the basic map layouts, you can place player 9 to 11 units without a start location. players without a start location but units in a map are automatically hostile to any player(think except neutral or player 12 units) and will attack anything, even if its alliance is set to ally with something, which is explains why players without a start location, their triggers won't work either.
but for player 12, it'll always remain neutral no matter what, it won't attack or defend, but certain triggers will work for them.
Cool; I didn't even know the without-start-location's-hostile thing.

I was wondering this also how to make just an extra comp player that just attacks everyone, i looked at this list but it only had a few players listed, did not mention any that did what you are saying.Yeah, extended players might be your only option. There's no doubt that they will work, but rather that they're just so damn risky. Their effects can be changed with any patch because memory locations change with it. Plus, they're pretty damn unstable, so they might cause crashes and such.
I've been searching for that Player 13+ Ally status list, but cannot find it. If anyone does, please post it here.
So does anyone know what player will attack players 1-8? or 1-12?
Even neutral players attack if they are forced to unally player. The only trigg that could possibly work for that would be to make a trigg under ALL PLAYERS, and then unally watevr player u want unallied. Then after u do that u can re-set the ally status for all the other forces and players. If you don't know what I mean I'll try an experimental map and see if it works.

Tried that, and does not work, hmm anyone have any other suggestions?Just out of curiosity, now that were on the topic of extended players and attacking, does anyone know why certain extended players (around 100 I beleive) will only fire back at a unit attacking them while adjacent to that unit, even if they have a ranged attack, and even then only fire sporadically?

O you know of some players that actualy fire back? what players lol, even if messed. I cant find any that either dont crash the game or just sit there.I don't know which extended players are hostile off the top of my head.
Is there a list of extended player unit properties?
If there is maybe someone can direct me to it. =)
Otherwise maybe we can make one, or something.
I actually in midst of trying to fix another problem 1 time ran into some the problems with player 9+, i discovered that you can't give them AI scripts, however you can give them orders or move unit command. I believe the reason why they fire when you are adjacent to them is because they don't have to turn to fire. they can just fire. Now they will only attack you once if you do this correctly then they stop. as if they forgot to be neutral and where re-commanded to ignore me firing on them. would be awesome if anyone could ever figure this stuff out.
Still searching for anyone who knows any player that will attack back, im working on a map and would really like to add in a npc in the empty areas to slow down the players or something.
ADDITION:
Bump
Come on someone must know a player that attacks back, any player.
It's really not so hard to test it. I think there's a good one in the P90-100 range, try those.
OKay. There is no way to make any other playes than 1 - 8 attack or be attacked. 12 is able to own units and that is about it! Nothing else!

This is true... In scmdraft there is the way of making 9-12 to computers... try that if u have it

Great wrong answer, 7-7. Players 9-12 can be attacked. They all can also own units.
