Michael Totten's reporting from Iraq is one of the best (Along with Michael Yon's) unvarnished ground-eye views of the actual situation inside the actual country.
If you're not reading his articles, you are seriously missing out on a chance to get well-written firtst-hand knowledge of the situation - - both the good and the bad of it - - of a quality that you will never find in newspapers.
