Apparently Konami quietly dropped notice of this year's lineup to retailers today. One of the games mentioned was a new Castlevania game for the Nintendo DS, with a rough release date of mid-November.

Konami has quietly announced a few titles coming later this year to retailers today. Most of these are expected to make an appearance at E3, so stay tuned for more info.
The Nintendo DS will see another Castlevania sequel this fall with Castlevania: Portrait Of Ruin coming 11/15/06.
That's all I got; more info coming at E3 blah blah blah. Will this game do anything to prevent the current formula for this series from getting stale? (unlikely) Will this be the game that overtakes Symphony of the Night in the series? (also unlikely) Will everyone on TNL (except for diffusionx and joust) be moist for this game, although it's almost guaranteed to be more of the same shiz? (likely)
Interesting that this is the first Castlevania in a long while to not have a musically-themed subtitle. I wonder what the signifiance of that is (other than the fact that I try to overanalyse everything).
