How much weigt can you bench, say how old you are and about how much you weigh. Just wondering what kind of people can do both computer stuff and weight lift.

I am 15 and I weigh 165 and I bench 225 pounds! -max

How much of a kilo is one pound?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Kellodood on 2006-04-21 at 14:03:38
Before I quit weight training, I was able to bench 210. I was still going up.

I'm not as strong in my arms as I am my legs.

510 on the squat. 900 on the Leg Press. 420 on the Trap bar.

And now I wonder why my left knee always hurts..

Track sprinter here. I really don't do much of bench pressing, most of the weights I lift are for my legs.

I do 3 reps of 35 repetitions on quad lifts of 240 lbs and the same reps and weight for hamstring stretch.
I do 2 reps of 25 repetitions of 240 lbs of full leg resistance (I put a strap around my ankle and pull back) per leg.
I've squated around 400lbs
I don't know how much I can full leg press, I always put the max on mahcines, most I've done is like 550 lbs.

17 years old, 6'1", 147 lbs.

I don't bench. Not much of the person that works out. Volleyball practice helps build muscle A LOT though...

So does su... Nevermind.

I can do 125 a bunch, but there was no 125 option so I chose 135 cause I'm pretty sure I can do that.

5'7" 135lbs.

14, 120 pounds.
About my weight or so benchpressing. I don't know for sure.
It seems that my school is quite below average in terms of that - in the required Fitness for Life class, I'm one of the strongest/fastest kids, but compared to people from other schools, I can't do crap...

In my gym class, we have a competition to see who can bench 135 the most times. I always win, I get 20 - 22 everytime. The girls do 65 lol, most in our class is like 7.

I weigh 130-140, and bench about 145, I rarely use bench anymore. I just do push-ups in a handstand position, builds strength and keeps your muscle mass down. Better for running.

But my arm muscles are crap compared to my legs, we had a competition for who could go the highest. Me and two other kids went to half a ton before the coach stopped us. Sucked cause we all wanted to keep going.

No excuse, this kid in my weight lifting class weights 95 lbs, 5'4. He benches 135, which is extremely good for his weight.

Yeah, I know it's not a GOOD excuse, but it's still an excuse nontheless. I also have pretty long arms so that doesn't exactly help.

Again, I'm the same.

I'm 14, weigh 120, 5'8" and I bench around 130 on a good day. But I fluctuate wildly. Using I'm doing squats, or leg presses. I don't know how much I can do on either of them, but I do the most they go up to when I'm at the gym; 335 and 420, respectively.

Silent, terrible excuse.

That used to be me. I don't really work out, but...if you count the bar, I can do like...115 or something.

Bar is 45

I can do 60 alright, but 70 is sorta tough...

I guess 105.
