I understand the difficulty of making a map like this, but I am willing to give it a try. I may be asking for help, so if you are willing, drop me a PM.

It will take me a long time, that's all I can say. I'm also very busy with school, so I might not get to update it often.

Hm...the ability to shape the entire world of the RPG...alot of people had speculated this idea, but I haven't seen a completed map with such a system yet. I can already tell how the spells are going to work, and I'll say that you should improve on them, because I've seen more than my share of them and I don't think it's too fun playing with the same spells over and over again in different RPGs.

I'm not too familiar with Fable, but it does ring a bell. I think I can safely assume that it's an MMORPG though. Are the character's based off of the game? Because names like 'Scarlet Robe,' and 'Whisper' are sort of...strange. Fishing poles, however, seems quite interesting.

I'll have to seen some screenshot proofs in order to judge what you've really done.

Yes, Whisper and Scarlet Robe are based on game characters, but no, Fable isn't an MMORPG. It's a "shorter" RPG for its day, but I very good one, I must say. Google it if you're looking for more information.

As for the spells, if you're willing to donate your knowledge, I would be glad to receive.

Screenshots of terrain?

I'm not quite finished the Terrain yet. I don't think I could make it as good as your Terrain, WoodenFire, as I'm just using StarFire Edit, but I'll try to make it as good as I can with what I have.

Well... I am always interested in seeing doodad placement and Isometric terrain as it is the foundation for extended custom which I implement.

Still... post screenshots soon!

Well, I'll be glad to take any advice or suggestions or constructive criticism you have to offer me. I'm thinking of going over the Terrain again when I'm finished, as I think it might be a bit too cramped.

I'll post a link of Fable soon, and although the quests are similar, I've changed some elements of the game.

EDIT: I've just been testing some map features, and quite a few of them, I realize, require Hyper Triggers. I've used these triggers before in maps with a very small trigger count, but whenever I make a trigger for a Hyper Trigger, it affects everything. How can I make it affect just one thing?

depends what kinds of things you don't want them to affect, you could always use death counts as waits. In almost all cases, having triggers fire faster is a good thing.

good luck with your map, it'd be nice to have an interactive rpg for once

Well, for example, I want there to be a footstep sound, but it's only heard every second or so. So I put one Hyper Trigger under the footstep sound trigger, but then it also runs my explosion fx trigger faster. How could I only make it affect the footstep?
