I was making a mapand then my computer suddenly shut down...........
i rebooted the computer and i try to open my map that i was making but
it said error opening map!!!!!!!
I didn't even protect the map you know??
like before I had no problem opening the map i was making
and after computer shut down it got protected....
how do u protect the map in the first place??
don't tell me there is no way to open my map!!!
I don't wanna remake what i made already ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh T-T

were you using starforge?

Stop, calm down, and actually explain what your problem is. Like what editor you were using. Perhaps try posting the map. We can't fix something just because you cry about it.

maybe your map got corrupted since it was open when it shut down. protection is jsut basically corrupting your map, so i'm guessing you'd get the same error message

post your map. if you do not wish to show it to a big public, ask help from a guy who knows a lot about it. usual mapmakers may not have the solution to your problem.

See if OSMAP works on it. Am I even allowed to suggest that?
If that doesn't work, I would ask getting help from an experienced member who can try to un-corrupt it, or going back to a backup if you made one earlier. Backups are always a good idea, for future reference.
