ok i cook up this system but im not sue it'll work fullproof.
in my map, when a player dies he gets respawn. its not fair to keep respawning in the same spot. so i placed dark templar and ordered them to junk yard dog. they have respawn locations follow them. the only problem is that i have to cenrter the location on the dt at the same location. if 2 dt's get in range then i think either the locations will flip out or it'll crash. i cant think of any way to keep the locations from crossing
Make the locations smaller than the size of the DT. I think you can still create at the location even if it is already taken up by a unit.
Your system should work. Having the locations cross in diplo doesn't seem to do anything bad. Have you even tryed to see if your system works yet? If you haven't, then try that and check back.
It won't "flip out or crash," but you may not want two players spawning so close to one another. One possibility, if you want them to stay apart, is teleporting one of the dts away if there are ever 2+ dts in a spawning location.
hmm good idea. i havent tried it cause my little brother snaped the disc for bw.

the trigs make it an scx for some reason so i cant test it til i get a new copy

and its alright if they spawn close together cause that would build excitment as to who you could face in a duel
and how can i make a location smaller then the dt? thats like not possible. is it?
You can modify location sizes pixel by pixel in Starforge, just make sure that you have "grid snap" off.
Can't you just use one Dark Templar for everone's respawn point? Or does that ruin the idea?
yeah i thought about it but if there was a massive explosion, and 5 players died, the location would have to fit 100 firebats and it would be total chao. not a good idea. and this makes it so no one can camp the respawn
