has anyone ever played the map,in installation tileset, where the intro has a series of grates and some of them are then replaced by the broken grates? i can elaborate more if you don't understand.

also, how did tuxedo_templar move the installation doors in his Rush trailer?

There is a trigger named "Set Doodad State" use disable to open doors, enable to close doors, and you can move doors by just use "Move Unit" and name the door.

Doors and differentiable-state doodads are actually units if I'm not mistaken. Like said, they can be altered with the Set Doodad State trigger, and also moved using Move Unit.

k, i understand about the doors now. but what about the installation grate doodad.

if you take a look through the doodad list for installation terrain, you'll see a wall doodad that has horizontal metal bars covering a 'passage' and if you look further you'll see the same doodad, but the metal bars will be broken.

what i saw in that map was the the metal bars looking like the first doodad, then the next moment, broken like the second doodad.

All the creator probably did was copy the spot, but switch the doodad. There is no way to "change" doodads or terrain.
