My map is lagging because alot of units spawn. How can i eliminate the lag?

Sprites, units, unit spawning, try to lower these things.

Try to put a limit on how many units a player can have. That should help.

lol...but yeah that is true dont have too much stuff going on or it will cause the game to lag

You could also get a faster internet connection, but that's not practical.

Yeah but you want a map to run smoothly for everyone not just people with fast internet connections

i would say kill 10 units every 5 seconds if its that many units

what a commedian... you could lower the amount of spawns or pplz spawned and make them stronger to even it out biggrin.gif (of course there is a downside to this, if you are not using sf or scmdraft, or sumthin like that you cant go past 9999 health, if you need to)

how about, once a player gets a certain ammount of guys, stop making them.

ever thought of using death switches and stop spawning units when u reach a certain amount of death switches? (this works for lag testing)
