All right! As of today, my UMS map has suddenly bloated from 32 kb to 1.05 MB. I made a recent copy of the map to test out background music, however I did not save it as the original map. I know full well that I didn't save it as the original. I'm intrigued by this sudden bloat, I have looked through the original maps sounds and strings and have found nothing (no WAV files or unused strings.)
I'm intrigued... how the hell did it do this?
NOTE: I have a backup copy and I'm currently reworking the map, but I'm still interested in how it did this.

Should've asked this over at rpg wastelands
.
You can't remove file bloatation if it's from trying out music, but there is eh solution!
Do this:
1)Save Raw Scenario File(.chk) to somewhere in ur starcraft folder
2)Open the chk with your map editor(all of em can open chk)
3)Re-add all music you previously were using in this map.
Notes:
-Your sound files are removed when you save it as a .chk file, so while the file size is nice and gone, so are the sounds.
-Import the sounds again, luckily you don't have to go into each trigger use a play wav trigger, once the sounds are once again in the map the map will read them and play them the same way you had it when the map was saved as a chk.
-Make sure to remove all unwanted music before saving as a chk.
That should be all you need to know, You should know RPGWastelands staff can handle this problem easily
