Not bad stuff, but I suggest replacing the tiles of the room interior with ruins. It's simply easier to blend with. The ramp is already in the hall of fame and the hole has some blockiness to the upper left of the left pillar. Still, nothing here is terrible, 5/10. Try making some room interiors next.

Ruins eh? they looked the same I figured it was bridge tongue.gif I already knew about the hall of fame one I just did it for fun and as for the hole I couldnt find any blends

great stuff. overall 7/10. however, on the 4th pic, youy can tell that its not naterual. try to make the tiles flow smothly together

1st pic isn't special at all

I like the ramp effect, you didn't invent it, but looks decent and is functional

I really like your hole, even if it is a tad blocky

overall,

7/10, somewhat creative(not including #1)but blocky

Thanks as for the 4th pic I did alot of differnt variables to the holes and that one looked the best im still trying to figure out a possible hole that isnt blocky because I dont know why but im intrested in them tongue.gif

I was just practing an inside room for the 1st one

Most have great potential, except the movie type thing. I'm kinda sick of those. If you expand the ramp that doesn't quite end well, it could make for a VERY interesting entrance to secret areas, but it doesn't even have to be all walkable. Make it even more secretive...

The hole isn't quite well flowing enough, the point where the main holes connect need a little better blending, I've done some hole research and made some itneresting ones. See if you can find the blends tongue.gif

NiCe. I like the ramp, ( #2 ) though, it isnt origanal, but it looks nice.

The ramp is mirrored so thats 4/10

as tooth fairy said, the hole doesn't look natural, huge cut off 5/10

The futuristic thing is somewhat blocky, try finding tiles that match 3/10

so overall 6/10.

#1 - 2/10 First one has much better blends that go ruins/bridge -> temple face and the size is off and the blending outside looks sort of bad... However, I do like the fact where you have an Interior connecting to the outside via a cliff-side area...

#2 & #3 - 1/10 I don't recogmend using mirrored ramps for anything not on an Interior for they do not look natural what so ever

#4 - 1/10 The top left tiles do not connect with the main hole area. If you can see there is a line and some shading/color differences in that region. Really not that interesting unless you put a sprite/building there (or air unit) to cover up that small spot? The addition of these extra objects can hide the blockiness and enhance terrain.



On a side note, I see your new to terraining and the first thing I saw was your custom blending with the first piece that you posted. The use of tiles from different areas of the ruins-doodad area allow me to see some potential with your terraining. I would not doubt that you could become a very skilled terrainist within a relatively short time.

i think its neat that that ramp is walkable smile.gif you should mix it up too so it can look custom. that'd be neat. so basicly make then 2 sides different but try to keep them walkable
