I noticed in Dark Lunitc Ks map Ohama Beach he has units under your control that cannot be moved like a civilian for example. I owned the unit but I just couldn't move it. He toggles this feature on and off in movie parts of his map. How do I do this?

Order teh unit the move to a very small location and preserve it

Or you can put a location over some unmoveable terrain, and constantly move the unit to that location.

Do you want the unit to move alittle or just not move at all?

If you just want to stop it from moving you should indeed use that tuturial. If you also want the unit to stop attacking you should also constantly order it (or teleport) to move it it's own position (1x1 or smaller). I'm not entirely sure what will happen when you will combine them but I don't expect any problems.

Daedalus, your method of making them not attack won't work.

I just think to just center a small location on ur guy and order him to move it so if u order him to move somewhere else, u wont be able to move him but do switches if u want him to move again.

simple... just make a location over water....and a location over the entire section (for ground only if you want a air builder or something) and tell all units to move there...Preserve trigger

Trigger
Description:
No Move
Players:
¤ P1 ?
Conditions:
¤ Bring atleast 1 anyunit to arealocation
Actions:
¤ move all units owned by p1 to water

ground units cant go over water...

Which is exactly his point. When you constantly try to teleport a ground unit to an impossible area like water then every time he should be teleported he doesn't but instead stays in the exact same place. Basically you teleport him to his exact same position, 12 times per second.

@urmom: Yes I already had my suspicion
