Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Reducing Map Lag

My map suffers from slight map lag. I'm pretty sure it's trigger related, but I'm not sure what sort of triggers I should kill. I have quite a few "preserve trigger" triggers that repeat always. Could those be causing lag? Help! helpsmilie.gif

Thanks but the problem with my map is it still has a bit* of map lag when I test it alone. I'm not using Hyper triggers and I'm not massing tons of units (via triggers)
I have like 8 sprites on the map. When I deleted all the triggers and tested it, it ran smoothly.. so I assume it's the triggers. I just can't figure out which one's causing the lag.. Could it be 500 triggers are too many?

GTA classic has 1600+ triggers and it doesn't lag with 3 people at all if you have good connection biggrin.gif

I've tested the map by deleting 100 triggers. And the lag disappeared. It IS the triggers causing the laggage. (note* it's quite small) I wonder why it'd only affect my map, or maybe it's too small to notice on other maps. crazy.gif

Look for a trigger's that's been preserved for which the conditions always apply... if a trigger is always performing certain actions it'll lag up ur game... (especially if ur using hyper triggers...)
