Peter Jackson's King Kong
Publisher: Ubisoft
Developer: Ubisoft Paris, Ubisoft Montreal
Genre: Action/Adventure
Date Released: November 22, 2005
Graphics:
The graphics are amazing, especially on the xbox 360 the texture and environment are just beautiful. However, at some points the graphic does get a little to dark, and doesn’t feel as good as many other games on the 360.
8/10
Gameplay:
The gameplay is interesting; you get to take control of two main characters, Kong and Jack. While playing as Jack its an adventure/FPS. You get to play with around 4-5 types of gun. (Pistol, sniper, and machine gun is all I remember) However, the fun part is where you get top lay as Kong. While playing as Kong you get to fight T-Rex’s, V-Rex’s and even more. I like how in Kong mode you were able to go into this old movie style mode which is pretty much the finisher for each boss. If you’re not in that mode you cannot kill them as easily, the old movie style mode is pretty easy to get into, you just have to repeatedly press the Y button. However, even with there very different two types of gameplay, the game does get boring because it seems like you are doing the same thing over and over.
7.5/10
Story:
You get sucked into the story pretty well. As already seen the movie before I played the game, I expected myself to know the whole story; however, the game takes more of Jack’s side of the story. How he actually adventured to save Ann. I believe there wasn’t much of a story in the game, but it might have been just me because iv already watched the movie twice before playing.
7/10
Replay Value:
Playing the game the first time was fun, until the adventure part really got me. More like a lame puzzle than an adventure. The game time is very short you will be easily done with this game in a week playing about an hour per day. Also once done trying to get all achievements there really is nothing to do, unless you are a hard core fan of King Kong for some reason… Without any online play (even if it had any probably would have been bad) the game has no replay value, and you probably don’t want to play it again after finishing it once.

Dynasty Warriors 5 Empire
Publisher: Koei
Developer: Omega Force
Genre: Action
Date Released: March 23, 2006
Graphics:
I believe that this game has one of the poorest graphic in the game. Koei disappoints the 360 by brining in its port. Even though it is officially Dynasty Warriors 10th game it still has fog. Another thing which disappoints me is that every general looks the same; I could not tell big difference between the generals and seems like your playing the same buy over and over. However, I would take the 360 version compared to the current-gen version.
5/10
Gameplay:
The gamplay is everyday hack and slash. As shown exactly in the past version of Dynasty Warrior its button mashing. The fighting system is sometime not understandable, not only that the AI’s are as dumb as it can get. The main reason I’m bashing this game is the fact how Koei does not seem to show us much improvement; however, more like mass producing its titles so everyone gets one.
6/10
Story:
It is sad to come to a story at this point. I think Koei should throw away Dynasty Warrior for final or at least make a huge improvement and call it its last Dynasty Warrior. I believe there was no story at all in the game, the fact that it was not like King Kong where I couldn’t really feel it, this game had no story at all.
N/A
Replay Value:
If you are a fan of Dynasty Warrior and haven’t played in a while you will defiantly spend lots of time on this game. The achievements are nicely made, which really gives the game its replay value. The best part of the game is to play with your other Dynasty Warrior fan boy friends. It has a decent replay value.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Publisher: Bethesda Softworks / 2K Games
Developer: Bethesda Softworks
Genre: RPG
Date Released: March 20, 2006
Graphics:
With its huge environment the game has beautiful graphic. It is amazing how good the graphic is and how big the world is. The only thing that’s bad about the graphics is its 3rd person view. The graphic is truly just amazing one of the best on the 360.
9/10
Gameplay:
The gameplay is just fun. You can sit down and play for hours straight. Just the fact there are so many stuff to do the game is great. There are four guilds that are very different, and there own quest are very fun and interesting. The gameplay itself is also amazing same as the graphics. The only flaw is its glitches, so save often.
9.5/10
Story:
The story is one of the best part to this game. The game holds easily 50+ hours of quest which are very detailed. The guilds are very different with its own unique quest and the main story itself is just amazing.
9/10
Replay Value:
The game is huge! I mean HUGE! You can spend endless hours playing this game. However, I guess that is if you’re an RPG lover. Personally I’m not an Solo RPG type of guy; however, this game really made me play. The achievements itself are nicely picked, and you can create so many different characters. The only flaw of this game is, I hope they added more armor/weapon difference. However, that really doesn’t matter; enchanting your own weapons is fun. This is defiantly a game you want to get.

Nice format and I do agree with your stuff on King Kong as I have that on the cube.
I guess in your scale a 7/10 would be average, correct?
Lol, how did you post in this like 9 times in a row?

Yea 7/10 would be average, however, didnt even want to give that little extra score. I like to keep it as a 6+ rather than a 7. Like seriously the replay value is horrable, and game gets boring in the end. Good thing its short i mean seriously if it was as long as oblivion, i would of died...
Dynasty Warriors has TONS of story are you blind?
Though I'm not sure about empires mode. In Empires for DW4 it still had story but you sort of had to "find" it. I hope you know Dynasty Warriors is based off books, all the characters, etc. But I haven't played empires yet, I want to.
Dynsaty Warriors does not have a story. And I know its based off a good, I read the books.
Also what you said doesnt really make since.

Your pretty much saying it doesnt have a story. Even it did have a story it died off they should seriously stop making this series.
And this also is the 3rd one from Dynasty Warrior 5, and the 10th in the whole series. I expect all the story is gone by now.

It's just the same thing over and over again. Koei doesn't have the rights to make NEW storys for the books.
Yea its based off a book, but they already twisted it enough, why not make there own the three kingdom story?

Because it would suck.
I'd rather have them either:
A) Do a new but simular battle system. Like more advanced maybe prince of persia like?
or
B) Make the graphics so incredblie elite and guru and that you can't stop looking at it. That'd make it worth the 30$ they're selling it for.
Usually, review websites such as Game Trailers reviews the story, but games such as Dead or Alive 4 made GT not rating the stories. The stories were repetitive to unlock each costume as each charactor in the game has their own story, so possibly I don't think the story ratings is that nessesary.
GameSpot's rating systems is one of the perfected types of systems I ever seen, and yet most often its true.
QUOTE(GameSpot Rating System)
What the Components Mean:
Here are descriptions of the component categories that are used to derive the final rating. While GameSpot only assigns whole numbers for component scores, we consider each component in the context of the rating descriptions listed above. For example, if we believe a game looks good but not great, we'll give it a 7 in the graphics category.
Graphics
By graphics, we mean the technical merits of a game's visuals as well as the aesthetic quality of a game's appearance and presentation. The graphical performance of a game weighs heavily into our consideration of its visuals, so even if it looks pretty in screenshots, there's no guarantee it'll earn a high graphics score.
Sound
By sound, we mean the quality and use of sound effects, voice acting, and music in a game. Any of these may potentially have a significant impact on the overall sound score. For instance, a game with an excellent soundtrack and sound effects may still lose points for sound if the voice acting is of low quality.
Gameplay
By gameplay, we mean everything from the responsiveness and design of a game's controls to how challenging, intense, or exciting the game is. Basically, this represents how well a game plays and how enjoyable it is to play. Games very rarely earn a 10 in this category, due to how elusive games with perfect or near-perfect gameplay actually are. We weigh the gameplay score heavily when deriving the overall rating.
Value
By value, we're referring to how long you'll be able to both play and enjoy the game, and also how much replay value you'll get out of it. Breadth of gameplay options and overall volume of content both weigh heavily into this score. The retail price of a game can also figure into the value score, as can the presence or lack of similar, competitive products in the market. The overall quality of a game also has some impact on its value.
Reviewer's Tilt (Tilt)
While this component is not intended to be directly representative of our overall experience with a game, we use it to influence the overall rating one way or another, based on our overall experience. For instance, a technically impressive game that's highly unoriginal may be tilted low, while a game with a truly outstanding story but an unremarkable presentation may be tilted high.
I only copied and pasted the types of ratings they use to average out the overall.
Click Here for the GSRS I believe story is very important in some reviews. I agree not for all, but for some its very important.
Golden that last part of making there own story was a joke...
Yea and what you listed is what all Dynasty Warriors fans want to see, but they wont, becuase Koei doesnt seem to have done it even though its like there 10th game on the Dynasty Warrior series. Btw they had enough shots at China History. They had the three kingdom game had more story plot than Dynasty Warriors.
Expect that Three Kingdom game was done with little things, nothing really 3d. And it was a JRPG type of game, very fun if you play it a few times. Something that you see in GBA. And then they made Dynasty Warriors 1 which was a figthing game, and then turned it to button mashing game since 2. And yes they have improved graphic a lot, and gamelpay. However, ever since like 3 there hasnt been much change.
If your looking for something like Dynasty Warrior's with better graphic and much more killing check out Ninety Nine Nights for xbox 360.
Actually from Koei im looking forward to Samurai Warrior's 2 hope they dont give the 360 version a straight out port, unless they make the price cheap as they did for Dynasty Warrior 5 Empire.
