In this thread you will lots of basic new information, and some mostly highly anticpated game, and reviews. You also ask me question about what I have up here, or even about just random 360 games. My information might be 100% accurate but there all pretty accurate, and don't flame here. Also if you see on top there is a date, thats the date everytime I updated/changed this thread. Thanks.

E3 overviewE3 is over and the 360 defiantly got some support in the games with lots of great titles hitting the store nit he holiday season. While the PS3 had some questionable hardware and eye popping price they still came out strong due to its heavy PS2 fan. Nintendo looks stronger than ever, Wii being priced under 250 a lot of softcore and hardcore gamers are looking forward to it. Especially with its new motion sensor technology, lots of developers are looking into the Wii. Not only that Wii’s dev kits will cost around 2,000 now we call that cheap compare to around 40,000 for the PS3 I believe. And for the future of xbox 360 live anywhere seems very promising, yep we can see some Microsoft magic working on the 360 now. Sony has a foggy future with its stripped down PS3, while the Nintendo is just having fun.
Xbox 360 Peter lied…A few weeks ago Peter Moore told all the 360 fan that MS just over promised in the backward capability and has done its job. Well after hearing that a lot of 360 fans just went crazy. Now Peter is back on Major Nelsons pod cast and apologies for his mistake, and tells us a new update on the BC is coming. There adding 20 new titles with such game like Doom 3, and Lego Starwars.
Spring updateYes spring update is here with over 125 new stuff and improvements.

Leaked XBL infoWell from this site
http://www.clubskill.com/Game_News/3626/Le...ent%20for%20360You can obvious see that they got some leaked info. False or not, it looks pretty real because most content on that chart looks like what we expected. Well good news that Street Fighter 2 is costing around 400 Ms points.
Xbox 360 new accessorieshttp://www.engadget.com/2006/05/09/xbox-li...adset-coming-t/as you can see the xbox 360 is getting wireless steering wheels with shocks on paddles and controller and everywhere. Yep that will defiantly give you new experience of gaming, but for $120… Not sure, but if you’re a big racing fan that is something defiantly you want to pick up during the holiday season with your copy of Forza Motersport 2. As you can there getting some sexy looking wireless headset, the price is somewhere around $40 might be nice to have one of those. The Wireless Gaming Receiver for your pc looks nice as well, not exactly sure how that works but it still looks good. I forget all of those leaked pricing but somewhere around 40-60. Last but not least the Xbox Vision Camera yes only $40, it will work like eye-toy as well. And the new Poker game it creates a whole 3D version of you and yep it is cool. And no strip-poker allowed online just had to mention that. Yep thinking your best Halo 2 buddy was some hot girl, but once see his face its some 10 year boy who didn’t go through his puberty yet, nope not welcomed at all.
Peter Jackson's King Kong
Publisher: Ubisoft
Developer: Ubisoft Paris, Ubisoft Montreal
Genre: Action/Adventure
Date Released: November 22, 2005
Graphics:
The graphics are amazing, especially on the xbox 360 the texture and environment are just beautiful. However, at some points the graphic does get a little to dark, and doesn’t feel as good as many other games on the 360.
8/10
Gameplay:
The gameplay is interesting; you get to take control of two main characters, Kong and Jack. While playing as Jack its an adventure/FPS. You get to play with around 4-5 types of gun. (Pistol, sniper, and machine gun is all I remember) However, the fun part is where you get top lay as Kong. While playing as Kong you get to fight T-Rex’s, V-Rex’s and even more. I like how in Kong mode you were able to go into this old movie style mode which is pretty much the finisher for each boss. If you’re not in that mode you cannot kill them as easily, the old movie style mode is pretty easy to get into, you just have to repeatedly press the Y button. However, even with there very different two types of gameplay, the game does get boring because it seems like you are doing the same thing over and over.
7.5/10
Story:
You get sucked into the story pretty well. As already seen the movie before I played the game, I expected myself to know the whole story; however, the game takes more of Jack’s side of the story. How he actually adventured to save Ann. I believe there wasn’t much of a story in the game, but it might have been just me because iv already watched the movie twice before playing.
7/10
Replay Value:
Playing the game the first time was fun, until the adventure part really got me. More like a lame puzzle than an adventure. The game time is very short you will be easily done with this game in a week playing about an hour per day. Also once done trying to get all achievements there really is nothing to do, unless you are a hard core fan of King Kong for some reason… Without any online play (even if it had any probably would have been bad) the game has no replay value, and you probably don’t want to play it again after finishing it once.

Dynasty Warriors 5 Empire
Publisher: Koei
Developer: Omega Force
Genre: Action
Date Released: March 23, 2006
Graphics:
I believe that this game has one of the poorest graphic in the game. Koei disappoints the 360 by brining in its port. Even though it is officially Dynasty Warriors 10th game it still has fog. Another thing which disappoints me is that every general looks the same; I could not tell big difference between the generals and seems like your playing the same buy over and over. However, I would take the 360 version compared to the current-gen version.
5/10
Gameplay:
The gamplay is everyday hack and slash. As shown exactly in the past version of Dynasty Warrior its button mashing. The fighting system is sometime not understandable, not only that the AI’s are as dumb as it can get. The main reason I’m bashing this game is the fact how Koei does not seem to show us much improvement; however, more like mass producing its titles so everyone gets one.
6/10
Story:
It is sad to come to a story at this point. I think Koei should throw away Dynasty Warrior for final or at least make a huge improvement and call it its last Dynasty Warrior. I believe there was no story at all in the game, the fact that it was not like King Kong where I couldn’t really feel it, this game had no story at all.
N/A
Replay Value:
If you are a fan of Dynasty Warrior and haven’t played in a while you will defiantly spend lots of time on this game. The achievements are nicely made, which really gives the game its replay value. The best part of the game is to play with your other Dynasty Warrior fan boy friends. It has a decent replay value.

Publisher: Bethesda Softworks / 2K Games
Developer: Bethesda Softworks
Genre: RPG
Date Released: March 20, 2006
Graphics:
With its huge environment the game has beautiful graphic. It is amazing how good the graphic is and how big the world is. The only thing that’s bad about the graphics is its 3rd person view. The graphic is truly just amazing one of the best on the 360.
9/10
Gameplay:
The gameplay is just fun. You can sit down and play for hours straight. Just the fact there are so many stuff to do the game is great. There are four guilds that are very different, and there own quest are very fun and interesting. The gameplay itself is also amazing same as the graphics. The only flaw is its glitches, so save often.
9.5/10
Story:
The story is one of the best part to this game. The game holds easily 50+ hours of quest which are very detailed. The guilds are very different with its own unique quest and the main story itself is just amazing.
9/10
Replay Value:
The game is huge! I mean HUGE! You can spend endless hours playing this game. However, I guess that is if you’re an RPG lover. Personally I’m not an Solo RPG type of guy; however, this game really made me play. The achievements itself are nicely picked, and you can create so many different characters. The only flaw of this game is, I hope they added more armor/weapon difference. However, that really doesn’t matter; enchanting your own weapons is fun. This is defiantly a game you want to get.

Dead Or Alive 4
Publisher: Tecmo
Developer: Team Ninja
Genre: Fighting
Date Released: December 29, 2005
Graphics:
The games graphic is wonderful. The textures seem realistic, and the girls seem lively, as if you can even touch them. Even how long you play the game your eyes will not hurt. The background, special effect, and characters all just look so perfect; however, with a tint of extra shininess but that does not matter we love shiny stuff!
9/10
Gameplay:
The gameplay is like all other fighting game. However, they did do a good job on some of those blocking and counter attack. To really be a master of this game you need to master counter attack which is pretty tuff. They also have lots of different modes, from story mode to movie theater mode it offers you total of 6 different fighting modes (which are kind of similar but little different) and 6 more different view, ranking, and other type of mode which gives the main menu a nice look.
9/10
Story:
The game does not seem to have a story to it, expect for each character there are certain guys you fight. The game is just great!
N/A
Replay Value:
The game really used its achievements well, because the game itself has tons I mean tons of unlockables. Once you’re done with the story you think your done unlocking right? However, nope your not even half way there yet. There are like 100’s of costume unlockables; however, now your bored with single player. Then go use of your skills you gained to beat-up some random guy across the world on online battle. The online play is really what gives this game its replay value.

Gameplay is very much like the old Fight Night game, with lots of graphic improvement. The gameplay is still good, I love how it works; however, to easy single player mode?

The graphics I have to say lots of improvement. And its hard to make real good graphics where there are 22 fast moving people with a large field, but it seems like they have lot more space for improvement.
7 /10
Gameplay:
Works good, I would have to say slight improvement from old soccer games. And it seems like its harder to score which is cool, EA tried a different way of gameplay this time, and AI works like magic; however, no create a player and some other features of that sort would have been nice.

Publisher: Activision
Developer: Z-Axis
Genre: Third-Person Action
Date Released: May 16, 2006
Graphics:
Looks good for a current-gen game, but doesn’t look like next-gen. Especially the comic book style cut-scene and stuff does not work. It has lots of room for improvement.
7/10
Gameplay:
Being able to play 3 totally different character is defiantly a good news. Iceman is a fun character, you get mutations for beating level and its obvious that iceman’s power has changed. However, its levels are poorly made and not interesting at all. Because dodging stuff for 3 levels, and being a fireman is not fun… For Wolverine its hard to tell you have improved during your mutation. And its pretty basic hack and slash fun. His levels are very simple and fun to play through once. Nightcrawler would defiantly be the best character. His ability to teleport is very nice, and fighting with the enemy really seems like the Nightcrawler in the white house during the 2nd x-men movie. Graphic and more special effect improvement would really make this game a star.
8/10
Story:
The cut scene are so bad, you don’t want to hear what’s going on. And there really isn’t much to it, personally bad story overall.
5/10
Replay Value:
If you saw some more ability special effect improvement and sort, it would defiantly boost the replay value. However, no XBL or any sort of co-op makes this game poor. And only around 6 hour of gameplay time not a good replay value.

Just in a month Korean Phantagram will and Japnese Q Entertainments newly released game will hit the U.S. shevles! N3 which is an action/button mashing game will really be a treat for thoes Dynasty Warrior lovers. The graphics seen on screen shot and video are smooth without a fog, the most amazing part of the graphics and gameplay is how many units it can hold on the screen! It seems as if there are 1000's of soilders on the screen which really gives it, its mashing fun. Phantagram also announced that it will be full of drama which will mean it was have a good story.
Now to get into the game a little ill share some minor information that is known about the game.

The plot of the game is still unsure but we know it’s a Fantasy Action Adventure game.

It is confirmed that there is 7 characters in total which you can play.
Inphyy – A female with a red armor seems to use fire type spell
Myifee – A male with a rouge/barbarian type of characteristic and deals with fire type of spells.
Tyurru – A female water mage.
Klarrann – A male who uses a big mace type of weapon, seems to use lighting type of spells.
Aspharr – A male with a blue armor and seems to use lighting/plasma type of spells.
Dwingvatt – A elf? He uses wind spells.
Secret Character – Don’t know anything about this right now.
Game Feature:
-This game is a Fantasy Action Adventure with extreme drama and a great story plot. You get to play as seven different characters and play through each of there stage in the war. It pretty much seems like there is a one big battle and you get to see it in seven different characters eyes which is totally awesome. Its also a button mashing type of game with 100’s of units on screen at once.
-Each character seems like they have 4 special moves beside from there regular jump and attack and just attacks. The special moves are very intense in graphic wise and some moves do extremely lots of damage.
-Each character can level up to 9.
-You have a health bar and another bar which tells you how much energy it has to use its special move. You can get these energy by killing enemy soldiers which drops little red soul things that comes near you.
-The best feature about this game is there seems to be hundreds up units on the screen at once which really gives it its next gen feeling and real fun. The graphics are awesome as well.
-The game contains strategy about 20%-30%, but mostly the hack and slash unlike Kingdom Under Fire.
-Xbox 360 exclusive game.

Developer: Capcom Production Studio 1
Genre: Third-Person Action
Date Released: June 22, 2006 or August 22, 2006 (Not sure just delayed I think and is not confirmed)
Ill go right into the basic info about the game.
Story Plot:
So you start out as Frank West, a photojournalist, hearing that there is zombie in the mall you go there to find out why. So as somewhat like a detective you go around helping the NPC’s in side quest to help you find out the mystery.
Info:
-Level Up’s,
As you guys might thought your character probably won’t change through out the game. However, your wrong. Your character starts out as a normal human with low life and weak, but as you follow along the story line you can level up by killing zombies which give you attributes points which you can invest in jumping to roundhouse kicks. Other ways to gain attribute points is by doing the side quests, and taking good pictures. It is known if you have high attributes points on some part you can jump on top of zombies and etc. This give you the ability to custom make your character the way you like it.
-Food,
In the game health is done in a pretty simple but clever way. Obviously you get damaged when your hit ( you don’t turn into zombies ;( ) however, to heal your health its not as easy as Call of Duty 2 where you duck and cover and in a min your back to full health. You get to choose from around 50 items which you can eat. Also the items can go wrong so it is a good idea to cook them.
-Game Length,
This part is very unclear to me yet, but from what it really seems like it’s around a three hour game. Don’t get me wrong though it’s a three hour that you will enjoy but which you probably won’t be able to finish the game. That’s what capcom is aiming for, this three hour is your replay value. Being such an open ended game with around 100 NPC’s/Side quest to help you out in your mystery.
In all this there is another report that the 72 hours in game is equal to 7.2 hours in real life. Don’t know which one is true hope its 7.2 hours though.
-Item
There is around 250 items from a lightsaber (found out it was a toy) to a safety cone. Each item can do a lot of stuff like blind the enemy or cut them in half.
-Level Up
There is a PP bar under your health which tells you which point you will be leveling up. When you level up from what I know you can invest your stats on from jumping to aiming. There is around 7 attributes.
-Clothing
Yes there is going to be clothing in the mall which you can suit your own character. Pretty much everything in the mall you can use.
-Vehicles
It is known that there is Vehicles; the only one I know for now is a Humvee which sounds good enough.
-Missions
This game actually follows a main mission from what I heard. And there is many side quest which actually help you level up more like give you attribute points. And there are check points between the ways. There are around 100 NPC’s which give you side quest, I don’t believe all of them do though.
-Taking Pictures
It is now known that Frank West is photojournalist, so you can take pictures. While taking pictures if you take real gory and good pictures will give you extra attribute points.
Other:
It seems like multiplayer is not announced and it probably will not be, but don’t hold my word for it. I wish there was. This game is also an xbox 360 exclusive game.

Okey I think I'll stop and take the time to be a trend whore for once. Now where to start, how the hell doesn't dynasty warriors 5 have a story? Seriously even the people that just play the game to beat the hell out of the enemy people know there's a story. EVERY game has a story, no story no game. DW5's story is about the age of the Three Kingdoms. It took place in historical China, its part of china's history and they even made a book called "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" . This game has a much bigger story then you could ever imagine.

You kidding, I read the whole book, its based on the book yea. But yea you expect its 10th game to still follow the story of the book?
You dont even know about Koei, i use to play there really old game Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Now that game followed the story a little bit, however, Dynasty Warrior is nothing like it.
If you count up all the game Koei made about the three kingdom its around 20. They should seriously stop, Dynasty Warrior 5 Empire seriously does not have a story.

And if your going to compair it to the ps3, seriously there is going to be no difference devs are going to make the same games for both console. Dont know why anyone would pay like extra 200 bucks and 10 bucks more per game.
And around 5 years later were going to be seeing a new console...

http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20060503-6740.htmlThe fact is, the 360's GPU is atleast equal..if not better than the ps3's for various reasons.
The PS3 cannot use HDR, Softshadows, and AA at the same time, but the 360 can.
The 360 uses a GPU that is basically DX 9.9, however the PS3 uses a standard DX9 card...this is due to the fact that MS makes DX.
The 360 has 10MB of embedded, lightning fast ram...ontop of the 512mb shared.
The 360's GPU is based on a unified architecture, the PS3 uses a basic PC card.
Without knowledge you should not be saying anything. And obviously you do not know anything about these two system, looking at specs and just reading is like reading a book word per word; however, cannot sum the story up in your head. If you look straight at the specs xbox 360 actually wins. IGN even posted a whole story on this.
Main reason why the ps3 will be more expensive is its blue-ray, more storage good sure why not; however, is it that important. Also Sony announced its games wont be able to play 1080p only 1080i, the 1080p is just saying for the blue-ray.
Do not flame without knowledge just making a fool out of yourself. And you just did.

Seriously its not just dimmed, Dynasty Warrior 5 Empire has less of a story. Its like replaying button mashing, dude like i am a Dynasty Warrior fan, i love that game. However, the fact is Dynasty Warrior 5 Empire really doesnt even have a story... Even if it did you wouldnt know until you beat the game like 5 times... I beat the whole game through once and unlocked all the generals.
And the old Dyasty Warriors had more of a story than 5 Empire.
Btw Dynasty Warrior is pretty much of a remake of ROTK, they just made the guys 3d and added button mashing... If you think about it the speical moves and everything where there since ROTK, and it had a much better storylnie.
And im pretty sure the game is based on the story, it doesnt really follow it that deeply.

It would throw off Devolpers and how they would use the hardware, the devolping kits are already out there they'd have to send a new batch of them if they were to change anything. And they won't.

1.)Yes they are about equal GPU's.
2.)Yes it can actually. It just cannot apply HDR and AA to the same buffer at the same time. You can easily get around this though.
3.)PS3 USES OPENGL NOT DIRECTX. Xbox360's is more like DX9.5, most of the big things wern't completed when it was released. They also both use Custom GPU's which has nothing to do with Microsoft.
4.)The PS3 also has dedicated ram for things like AA and AF. They do however use a different type of ram than the Xbox 360 due to they were oringal going to output to 2 TV's. The ram microsoft is using is fairly expensive and would have costed wayyyyyy to much to apply AA to 2 high resolution TV's.
5.)The unified system just means that pixel and vertex shaders can be used interchably. Your basically emulating vertex shaders on the pixel shaders. Now this can be good or bad depending on how much time you take to optimize it. If you optimize it poorly it can be worse than seperating the pixel and vertex shaders. If you optimize it good....you can get very good performance but you can also optimize the hell out of a levels and models to make the best use of the pixel and vertex shaders.
6.)It's a cheap Blu-Ray player.
7.)The PS3 has been analyzed to cost between $600 - 900 TO MAKE. The Xbox 360 oringally costed $720 to make.
8.)The PS3 will most likly cost around $400 to compete with the 360. Sony is not afraid to lose some money, especially to establish the Blu-Ray market. Microsoft lost a crap load of money with the oringal Xbox and also with thre 360. Sony can afford to do the same. Sony is probably looking to care less about the Console market and more about the Blu-Ray market.
9.Costs will go down. As you get better yields and the size of the die goes down, price goes down to make it.
10. Hey Microsoft and Sony will both probably loose a bunch of money with this generation. But who will be standing back making profit off the actual console and the games just like they did last generation? Nintendo. They actually MAKE PROFIT.
11. The reason why PS3 costs more:
-60gig HD
-Blu Ray Drive
-IBM aint really doin to great with there Cell yields.
Thats basically why.
I expect ps3 to cost actually around $500, we will know it just in like 3 days when E3 comes along

-60gig HD
-Blu Ray Drive
-IBM aint really doin to great with there Cell yields.
Def true only reason.
They both pretty much hold the same power, expect the ps3 takes advantage with the space

that means more cinimax and stuff which makes it also into 1 cd disk unlike 2-3 depending on really how many cinimax they want to add.
And why do people care so much which system wins, personally i think they all profit from making new console, i mean there is enough people to buy them. Like there is 50% US who likes xbox 360 and like 50% Us who likes ps3. In japan its like 70% Nintendo and like 30% PS3.
Well thats not the point, what i was trying to say is dev going to make same game for each console, you wont know the difference, and stop like arguing which console is better.
They both have there ups and downs, now i guess you will choose which console is better depending on which side of the battle you want to be. The big battle is HD-DVD vs Blue-Ray not xbox 360 vs ps3
because xbox 360 and ps3 are actually pretty much a tie. Fanboys can argue on real gamers play the game.
