when moved to a dropship, Is a 1x1 location big enough to detect the dropship and the units inside?

Also, if a ground unit is moved to a location that only applies to Air, does the unit get moved?

You can find these things out by testing them.

And to your second question, I think yes.

I likely can, but when working through the map, its a bit of a hassle to keep going back and forth for these minor things. Considering someone browsing this forum likely knows the answer, its far easier this way happy.gif

I suggest making a test map that you always go back to to test these small matters; that's what I have. I also always comment the results of my test in the triggers incase I ever ask the same question again at a later date.

Making a test map for this is the best idea, the "hassle" is worth it compared to the time it takes to get an actual answer, and I bet the person that comes up with the answer actually tested it themself. So don't be lazy, go test it.

If you don't want the unit to be moved from the location then have the location apply to ground...if you do want it to be moved...well...THEN TEST IT OUT!!!!

As far as locations are concered when units are loaded into transports they become air units.
This is the basis of dropship menus and cool stuff like that, except it uses a ground only locaiton to detect when the unit is dropped.
