-How to play?
Players buy units to kill enemies  happy.gif.
However, instead of walking, the enemies warp between 2 boxes.
The enemy stays on the first box for x seconds, warp to the second, stay there for another x seconds, then warp back.
Players start with 10 seconds as x, but can buy more time.
If a player kills all of the enemies before they warp to the second box, he gets minerals equal to 6x the time left.

-What's new in your map that others have not done before?
Warping instead of walking! (This better be new...  pinch.gif )

-Units
-Stacked cannons and invisible bunks.
-Tanks, goliaths, hydras, lurks, rines, goons, archons, temps, mutas, wraiths, corsairs, valks, scouts, and devourers.

-Heroes
-4 Infesteds, 2 in each box
-Guards, BCs, Carriers, Arbs, Ghosts, defiler/queen, and 2 sci vessels

-Items
-Time: Adds 1 second to the amount of time you get to kill the enemy.
-Life: Buy a life.

Might add these, might not:
-Emergency Time: Sacrifice a life to add 10 seconds to your current time.
-Boom!: Kill or injure a random amount of enemies.

-Other specs
Will be at least 25 levels, both air and ground.
Players start with 10 lives.
10 enemies come each level (might change...)

Not a bad idea at all. The only time I've seen a teleporting type defense is in Kenoli's blue defense (I think that's what its called, and I think he made it... pinch.gif ). Other than that, it seems original enough. smile.gif

I can't wait to see some screenshots.

Oh, ignore the O that's cut off by the recall pic on PopaE's name. He didn't tell me what color he wanted it yet, so I didn't bother fixing it.

kewl, how does the warp work though?
are you going to recall every couple of seconds? or even use recall?

No, they're just gonna teleport, but there's gonna be a recall effect when they do.

Are you going to have "Hero dollars"
or anything?

And how about at the briefing (or anywhere else) you get the arbiter WAV thats says "Warp Field Stabilized". Perfect no?

I have a different warp defence somewhere... i can show it to you if you would like... it has a much different theme... (walk along path to recalling[contiuosly] point. Goes from there to the other one... down the path and you lose a life. While your shooting at it blink.gif )

I can't do anything on the weekdays, so here are updates (finally):

-Added heroes
-Up to 8 levels for p1
-Everything except levels work for all players now
-Basically done with terrain
-Done with most of non-lvl unit names
-Buying time now says how much you have
-Made recall effects better
-Fixed a civ bug
-Balanced some more
-Ups adjusted

Phew...

ADDITION:
Ok, I'm adding some more terrain, so I wasn't done tongue.gif. I'll put a screeny up tonight, hopefully.

More:
-12 levels
-You now get 1 mineral every 6 kills ( 5 or less was just too much. )

wow, this sounds amazing. i hope you make it not so easy u beat it on ur like 2nd try, but not too hard so that you never beat it. so with this, you dont have to depend on other people? its a solo defense? (srry, the screenshots arent working for me, so i cant see them)

Hmm that minimap terrain is awsome. I'm not really bought into your defense idea yet though, I'll just have to find out once it's released.

Sounds like a great idea and some of the terrain is nice, but I personally think the top part needs a bit of the touch up. Anyways, good luck with this and way to be original! cool.gif rockon.gif

Heh, thanks for bumping.

Anyway, I wasn't able to work on this map for like the past 2 weeks, but maybe I'll start work on it again this week. I did, however, manage to fix a few bugs and start the into text. Expect this to be done in... 2-3 weeks?

-Finished warp effects and stuff for all players
-Fixed air units going back to the first box after warping
