I know there have been topics like this before, but:
How am I possibly going to make mission breifings in SCMD? Is there a plugin, or am I going to have to risk another editor screwing up my map so I can make the briefings?

As far as I know you can't make mission briefings with SCMDraft. Just use the text message trigger at the biggining of the game to tell people what the point is or the storyline. Thats the only recomendation that I have for you...sorry

I would like to ask the same question, I am experimenting with alot of crap to get mission briefings. If anyone knows the best way to do this, preferably with the classic mission briefings kind of style that won't erase all my "illegal units".

I would recommend using one of the five editors of Starcraft X-tra Editor if your not comfortable with SCMDraft.
