About?
Im planning on baseing this around 1700 time where swords where still in use.
The main idea is several cults of vampires are now in the world causing chaos around the planet yet human rebeliance is to try and wipe out the vampire civilisations.
Now the vampires are now also planning to wipe the human civilisation from the planet lead by apon hundreds of generals leading there finest warriors into battle with the vampire rebelion.
How To Play
You start the game by choosing a spercific rase of vampire choices are :
Blood Stain Cult
Black Legacy Cult
Ferial Cult
Huffmen Cult (Mad Group)
They come with there own unique abilities like :
Jump Distances
Invisibility(Costs Blood)
Berserk(Mad Group)
Life Bringer(Undead Humans)
Weapons and armor

Iron Dagger
Short Sword
Claymore
Broad Sword
Silver Sword
Silver Axe

well the vampires are cause there being killed by humans for the vampires killing humans.
soo basically a big battle lol.
the humans im gonna try make them use tactics to invade the vampires.

How do you plan on doing the weapons/armor? Just buy them and you get minerals/gas to upgrade? Or a different system...
Wait, is this TBC or RTC battle system?
im gonna try a new system where the gas = amount of armor and the minerals = damage.
if a player has enough attack over the other players defence = more damage.
custom score for hp's.
and dont woz i wont steal any of ur ideas for start its in another tile set.

thnx what i use for the attack is either zergling or zealot the more time you spend in cloose contact you will damage each other every chance.
chance = to how much agility.
agility can be gained in the training room such as strength i might add aswell.
I hate RPG's with "Training Rooms"
make agility be increased when you level up like every X levels... or items give u additional agility/str?
mm good idea or you could achieve it by doing quests from the lead vampire.
if you do the quest you win .... agility or sumin
QUests would be a good substiute for the training room thing.

well i wanna try a new sort of combat trigger system but once i find it. ill hopefully make it soo the player can increase the health or abilities.

trust me this will take a very long time but ill be needing testers for the new battle system perfectly cause i tryed with a comp and its not even worth it
my next message will be asking for those spercific testers.

ADDITION:
I will be asking for new ideas for quests(vampires)
any idea will be accepted for consideration(no sexual quest ffs lol)
For the battle system, instead of having a zergling and such for attack you could do this.
Assign each unit an attack number, and defense number using death counters or whatnot. Then, when a player attacks an enemy, have a trigger system that detects what enemy that player is fighting and that enemy's Atk/Def and most of all HP. Then, calculate the players attk/def (Won't be hard seeing as you're using resources), and use a death counter or something to serve as the enemy's hp. Then, do the damage system, which i cannot really help you with seeing as i don't know how you want to caluclate damage. But it could be something like..
Enemy1 has 20 hp and 3 attk / 1 def.
The player has 4attk/2 defence.
Player does 3 damage to enemy, subtract three HP via deathcounter.
Lol, sorry about the vagueness.. i sorta just thought of it while reading your topic.
i was just thinking of a even better way to indicate wether the unit is attacking another unit yet the zealot(vampire-changed from ling) attacks a burrowed ling under the zealot.
your zealot will attack the zergling everytime the ling dies it will indicate a hit to the player there fore weakening the player untill he dies.

How does that make it a tbc? TBC = TURB BASED BATTLE SYSTEM, not mineral gas battle system lol.
Anyways i like most of your idea's. Personally im an RPG fan. so goodluck with this.
thnx and im now happy to say ive chosen a way of the combat system which is a zealot that has a location following him 2x2 when in contact.
certain weapons have speed attacks.
other weapons have magical abilitys.
The armour can for example weapon attack 5
and armour defends 6 player does 1 damage every to hits.
The super unique weapon will have 1 weakness but you must achieve all the quests then grab the unique armour.
now in this context ive found a new sort of status bar thing.
player can have Strength every 5 strength = + 5 damage.
player can have agility that can make the attackers weapon miss more often than usual.
player can have dexterity which enables more chance of hitting a player.
will keep you all informed in any updated.
