You thought their affects were random before...

which has now changed.

They all have a pattern. You can see my proof, just look at how the supply is the same and affects 12 players, then goes to the next one.

Then look at player alliance. You can tell it counts by twelves. You can also see the pattern in there that illiminates a lot of hard work, and explains a lot which was originally unexplainable.

Enjoy.

I'll admit, I didn't read all of that, but I'm sure it was an interesting read...

I am so lazy.

Are you going to make an effect list for players under 76, too. (for like the speed effects, etc.)
Report, edit, etc...Posted by BeeR_KeG on 2004-07-23 at 18:52:41
After a couple of hours of testing how to do this I found these bugs.
I used players 73-80 and 1-8 were zerg

i played me and comp in b.net

Hatcheries dont produce larva at all
When drones are minining minerals, when they return to hatchery the minerals don't appear same with vespene gas
I had 50 pylons for player 73, with food stayed at 200
Vespene geysers built at about 1.25 speed.
Sometimes Drones had no shadow, they look like sprites
Sometimes the 3 minerals to the left had 0 minerals but were still there.

I only had a few testing time, I might add more bugs later.

Well I can answer this one.. you need player 97 pylons as well to increase the limit.

Edit: I would be interested in seeing a burrowed unit cloaked so enemies couldn't see it tongue.gif

I would like to see a normal colored uncloaked darktemplar (normal ...as in one of the default colors 1-8)

I think I speak for everyone when I saw "how?"

Is by anychance how Nozumo cloaked zerglings in Cloaked Zerglign Blood? Cause I've been meaning to do some testing on that but haven't gotten around to it.

It's some effect with player 161. Not exactly sure but I placed a pylon for that player and it cloaked. I then placed another unit beside the pylon for that same player, and the unit cloaked instead of the pylon. I then gave it to a different player with triggers(me) and it worked.

You forgot to mention Moose suggested you used a Detector when you noticed it was unclickable. tongue.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Vindexus on 2004-07-23 at 21:56:42
So if you place a unit owned by player 161 and give it to a human player, and place a detector near it, it will cloak/uncloak no matter what unit is is?

My post was about bad bugs that make the game difficult, not like uncloakes observers that make it more fun.

Your post seems like mine was competition.

BTW:Not thinking I'm better or anything, but did you test all posible normal things that could go wrong with those players. I mean I found out mine with not much of effort...

http://www.darkmonkey.com/Mini/p_research.htm (if link doesn't work, it's in my sig anyway)
If something goes wrong, it's probably there. I seriously need to update it though. What's funny is if I was just using a Pylon instead of my standard unit set all this time I would have found all the stuff DK did...

I'd like to see Cloaked Lings, Cloaked Zealot, Uncloaked Dark Templar, Cloaked Marine, Cloaked Spider Mine

How far is the reverse cloak? The distance of a pylon aura...? lol

Wait I was gonna say something else but I don't remember what it was...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Deathknight on 2004-07-24 at 01:30:47
You don't need a pylon for the cloaking thing. Just place a unit for player 161. It should work. :/ *Note* make sure you don't have vision of the player right at the beginning of the game.

Cloaked Arbiter?
GG.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by CheeZe on 2004-07-24 at 11:54:44
if you cloak a wraith that way, the shadow will still be there. if you "cloak" again, then shadow will disappear like normal and if you uncloak, it will uncloak. (I had something I was going to prove... huh.gif )

umm..its' weird?

The only units I know of that don't work are pre-placed spells.

Hey wait... I just thought of something. DISABLED SPRITE-UNITS!
