Sony
A LOT of crap happened during that thing. The price of the Ps3 is revealed and it goes with microsoft approach of two sets. A $500 dollar unit with a 20GB harddrive or a $600 dollar unit witha 60gb harddrive. And I have to say, these harddrives ARE NOT rip offs unlike Microsofts pitful 13GB for $100 dollars.
Other things made apperances such as a new Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer. An unnamed game from Naughty Dog, and Insomniac. Though I believe insomniacs game use to be called "I-8" I saw a trailer for it a while back. I can't find the current video of it however. Oh yeah the controller also has some motion detector thing with the controller which is completly retarded, and if anyone says that Nintendo was "Owned" should seriously be shot in the face.
Sony has a single capablity motion detector, meaning it can tell whether or not the controller is in a certain position. However Sony only started making this after Nintendo realeased there news on the Wiimote, they probably proved it's easy to make really fast but that's it. The Wiimote has a crapload more features like tilt capablites and other things like that, how close or far you are from the TV etc. So if devolpers wanted to make a game using that kind of gameplay they'll use nintendo because it has a more immersive feel to it. Sony just did it in a attempt to discredit Nintendo which is SUPPOSE to fail if you think about it for two seconds. There was no reason for adding that feature. So now Sony players everywhere have to handle with motion detectors on the side of your screen just so you can lean left and right using your controller.
I'd also like to mention that the design of the Wiimote was made specifcally because of it's new concept. Sony just added it on to there already made controller, proving my point that they never intended to make it until nintendo did.

I'll post again after tommorow's Nintendo Confrence and the day after that with Microsoft's confrence. The videos are still down on GameSpot but as soon as I find out they're up I'll post.

The one thing that stands out from GF's post is the issue of Sony using motion sensing technology, which has been paraded by Nintendo for who knows how long.

I find it odd how this happens because months or even a year ago, Ken Kutaragi stated that the Revolution is nothing more than a gimmick. Guess it's time to fess up.

The motion censore is great, soon it might include your whole body movement in the near future than a controller. drool.gif

Oh and I forgot to mention, they might include dialogue responses as you can use a microphone talking to AI NPCs.

I made a mistake in my Hours Calculation. While posting this Microsoft is demostrating what's in store while Nintendo has already held press confrence Here: http://www.gamespot.com/e3/e3blog.html?topic_id=24602830
It doesn't say anything we don't already know but there are a lot of videos showing the revolution in action. You can watch it in Low Resolution here: http://www.gamespot.com/e3/index.html
Just go down to the Nintendo Red sign and click "Low Res Viewing".

As for microsoft, first:
Halo 3 is annouced So Bungie may have another project going on, but Halo is still being made. I'm sure this was the news most fans were expecting/waiting for.
And the next biggest news?
http://www.gamespot.com/e3/e3story.html?sid=6149698
Grand Theft Auto 4 is being released EXCLUSIVLY to the Xbox 360 (My mistake it's coming out for Xbox360 first, and the ps3 version will be released a month or two later). I'm now 100% happier now that I bought this Xbox 360. A bunch of other stuff is annouced, but as for hardware wise I think Sony had the most to say this show. The microsoft video will be up in a few hours (apparently). Now I'm going to watch the Nintendo and Sony confrences in Low Res.

Also some other things coming in from E3. Like MGS4's new trailer?:

(First trailer in list)
HOLY CRAP!
If you watch that you can see how awesome/werid that game is going to be. Raiden looks COMPLETELY different, he's like Gray Fox from the first game.

The Ps3's controller has got nothing on the Rev's.
All the Ps3's can tell is if it's basically being moved and the direction.

Revolution can tell you where it's pointed at the TV, it's acceleration, if it's being turned\tilted\any direction\etc.. It also fit's more with the hand and would seem more natural. And how would you hold two sony controllers for lets say a two handed sword in a fighting game?

Not only that but Revolution's got extensions that btw has the same sensing capabilites of the controller.

I just don't get why Sony would hire Ken Kutaragi, the man that called Revolution nothing more than a gimmick, when they, themselves are using this technology.
