Not a single blend... just tile smashing + sprites...

A pathetic excuse for terrain.

0/10

Blend some actual tiles instead of just splattering 100's of sprites on a map in unrealistic combinations...

just placing one space of the water there would looke better and the ashworld sprite completely freaks up the piece

Useless. that could never be used in an RPG, unoriginal...plain Boring..

1/10

Put special effects in it like roaming scarabs to make it look like a elf pond
Ponds are always good for rpgs, but this one looks like it belongs to the elves or druids and not castles or human villages. Add shadows from cloaked lifted buildings and it could look like a great scene

it wouldve looked better if u put a isometrical spot of water there -.-
normaly id even give a 2 for effort but this has shown NO effort at all
.5/10

PHI is right, an isom piece would've looked better. That's just plain old useless. It uses way too many sprites to be practicle in any way, whatsoever.

1st one is awfull...
Edit: i like the second one...i dont know how u could use that in an rpg tho..
Report, edit, etc...Posted by sharf on 2006-05-12 at 20:56:51
well i have an idea for it in an rpg, the mech(protoss' greatest invention malfunctions and crashes to earth, the crater fils and stuff grows around it but suddenly it is activated and 1 team is protoss tryign to fins it first 2nd team is terran and 3rd is zerg(comp) and first one there wins, not realy an rpg tho... but the white things are part of the energy the mech produces and the warp(obs) are the core going critical and thats what makes every1 look for it.

Report, edit, etc...Posted by Raindodger on 2006-05-17 at 18:18:06
Yeah, but this is for terrain. All you did is place some sprites. You probobly spent like what <5minutes on this piece. That's why you're getting low scores.
