It was around then, lol. Like I said, I needed the lesson. A few months afterwards, I encountered someone in the film program with the exact same attitude I'd had, and I couldn't take the guy seriously either. Shortly afterwards, I heard he was betrayed by his crew on a movie he was working on.
Thank you, and no, it's not online, but that's not a bad idea... I'll have to see about that, although I'm sure I'd have to pay (unless I uploaded it via Kazaa or something).

You could make a bittorrent for it, that would be better than using Kazza.

I drew EVERYTHING by hand. I scanned them into Photoshop, where I polished, colored, and put the frames together (the backgrounds, character poses, mouths, and sometimes certain body parts were all drawn seperately). Then I exported them to Avid, where I edited the movie together one frame at a time and synced the mouth movements up with the dialog tracks. Once that monstrous task was over, I added the music and sound effects where appropriate. Recording the sound effects was a blast. The teacher of the sound class let me borrow his students for a week so I could do this. He got a special thanks credit (Bart Vleugels).

I was going to ask how you did that... Wow man so I take it your a film major or something. Where do you go to school? I'm currently finishing up an Anime Music Video that I’ve put alot of work into hopefully alot of people here will watch it. Although you defiantly put more work into that and I don't have a staff lol.
Here is my review, I don't really have the qualifications to review it but I’ll tell you what I think anyways.
Sound:
I really liked it, the voice acting was a lot better than I was expecting. (another words it wasn't really lame). I take it you got some drama people to do it for you.
The quality was really low cause of the compression I wasn't able to understand a lot of the stuff they said. I liked how when you had the view in the locker it was muffled.
Animation:
First off I think the animation is amazing considering it is all hand drawn. How many images did you draw? The characters have really big hair for some reason. Becky is pretty ripped. You did a good job showing there emotions and natural body movements when they were speaking. When Becky waved good bye it looked kind of unnatural, like she waved her hand very fast like she was in a hurry or extremely hyper but she wasn't walking off when waving or anything and she wasn't hyper excited judging by the voice acting.
Story:
How did they get in the school on a Saturday? I'm not much of a story person.. looks like you thought it out with the whole weird talking pencils. Would there be flashbacks showing how they came to life or something? As far as the first part it doesn't seem like much happens, Maybe you should have a little more character development.
Overall:
Well I think its just really incredible, I know its better than I could do. I just felt that I should make some comments about what I didn't like. Cause lets face it you want to improve and I don't want to watch it every day so I figured i would tell you why.
Good Luck in the future.
