hey, im tryin to make a map right...but I need the WHOLE map to be covered in fog, wierd yes, but thats not the point right now...
I've place over a billion of dark swarms all over in SF, but it didnt work...it only shows a couple of them, and some spots it doesnt have them...
I tried useing triggers, but when I do, they dont even show up...
I need it to show the fog(dark swarm) without anything else on the map...you get what im saying...?

First, make sure the map is small. Also, there's a limit to how many units you can place in a map (a little over 1,600) so don't just hold down the clicker. The map must be small and the swarms must be placed one at a time. If you're already doing that, though, I dunno. It might be a Starforge problem and I can't help ya there.

Preplaced dark swarms aren't the same as ones cast by a defiler. They last forever, and they can be owned by any player, not just Player 12. You can't stack them or place them on unwalkable terrain, I think this is the reason your map isn't working the way you want. If any of them are on cliffs, water, doodads, etc. or even touching eachother, it should warn you that the units are unplaceable when you play the map.

In addition, a map can only have 1,700 units and 2,048 sprites. If either limit is exceeded, additional Dark Swarms will not appear. I get the feeling that if your map is any bigger than 64x64 you will end up hitting the limits.
