Yes, I'm confused also, since FF 12 isn't even released yet, but here you go anyway.

I knew that they were going to make an FFXIII. I think they anounced it a long time ago, around the release of FFX. However, I believe they also said that FFXIII will be their last FF.

Thank God, i hope 13 is the Last. FF has gotten so old, please, move on Square Enix. make a new game. PLEASE I BEG YOU!!! rofl

Yet when people dread about how Kingdom Hearts is a terrible game you defend it? If you don't like the game don't be a grouch and complain in front of everyone, no one cares.

2: How am i complaining in front of everyone? im simply stating my opinion that they need to stop with the FF Games. its been close to 20 years already. the franchise cant go on forever.

yeh FF is gettin old, but I wont lie...FF RPG's are the best, FF7 is the best game ever...But after playin FF9, FF10, FF10-2, and FF11...I got disappointed by the lack of effort....the storyline in FF9 was horibble, FF10 was WAY to short...FF10-2 was jus plain dumb...FF11 was pretty cool, but...it was just...you know....theres was jus so much to do in so little time...and it cost money...so that was a jib....yeh, other ones are real good though...FF12 and 13 have to be really good or else fans would be mad, especially me, Cuz al I play are RPG's...literally....

Final Fantasy 13 looks like fun. I'll be sure to play it for awhile.

Hmmm. The first time I watched this trailer I didn't really enjoy it. However, I re-downloaded it, and it grew on me. Mayaps I'll end up getting a PS3 after all!

I think that FFVII is really overrated, as is the rest of the series. I only like FFXI just because it's challenging and it's online. Plus, I'm rich, so I can afford to play it.

Meh whats the point of showing CG trailers XD SE always been good at that...

What i dont like about FF is, they always have same gameplay. Change it around atleast like Bioware.


Personally i favor Bioware a lot more than SE games. Bioware is truley innovative.

If you'd click the link I posted you'd see that there is speculation of actually gameplay in the trailer.

From what I've seen from KOTOR it's just like the older FF battle systems, except you can move around more (Which does nothing).

KotOR is definitely a more cinematic game than Final Fantasy. However, FF is still a lot of fun to play.

Well KOTOR is really easy, so you can fight like 5 people vs 3 and still see cool tricks.

well FFXII is released already in japan so no it isn't really wierd. the trailer was so short...it didn't really reveal THAT much

Yes it did. That the graphics will own ass, and the gameplay might look just as cool.
And what trailers do reveal a lot? Halo 3's trailer was basically nothing. Along with a bunch of other traielrs, Assassin's Creed, Fable 2, etc.

Well havent played the old FF's, but I personally enjoyed KOTOR better than the FF i played... Maybe i didnt get hook enough while playing FF becuase it was at a friends house, but i did not like it. KOTOR has more customization which is my favorite part...

Yea i know there is gameplay scene, and I that was the most graphicly intense scene they had... Trailers is so different when you see it and when its actually playing from your TV screen. While in the other hand a full in-game trailer i can believe... They only showed that one girl flying through some place... for like 3 sec...

Actually it's seven seconds of gameplay. If you actually watch it look at the bottom of the screen a HUD will show up.

yeah i saw that also. but that whole trailer could have been CGI...all of it. then again the PS3 can be a beast when it comes to graphics

It's not. It's called good editing and cutting. If I could somehow get a cut and edit video thing and some gameplay of FFX I can make it look really awesome as well. They wouldn't just stick in a HUD for no reason, a HUD is a main element of gameplay. That's why the Killzone 2 thing was so odd, no HUD, at all. This is different though, most of it is CGI but those 7 seconds are not.

yeah...i guess. and we all know sony is famous for getting our hopes up. remember when they promised "shrek like graphics" for the PS2

Promises and proof are two different things I don't remember them showing "Shrek graphics" in 2001.
