The Nintendo DS Lite is coming out in 25 days and im stoked! Its one sexy beast! [attachmentid=18893]Im currenlty saving up the 163 dollars Canadian(130 American) (I calculated it and rounded the cents up) so I'll be the first person in MTL to own one. Nintendo currently has over 283 game released and coming out for the DS and that number is growing. I know your thinking" But T-, why waste cash on the DS lite when you can wait and get a Wii?" Well im getting a Wii for free female doges. That and school is freaking boring.

Any DS playas on sen? What games do you pwn? Any game recomandations?

I don't want any portible thing like the psp or ds. If microsoft make something like the psp and allow it to hook up to the 360 somehow, not to mention it has to be cheaper than the overrpriced psp. then i will get it

I doubt what's being called a "Super Computer" will be under 300 dollars.

No, I do not play DS Lite. I don't think I would be interested in playing any form of video consoles. P.C. games are my favorite.

The reason Im in love with it is cause of its portability. Think about all the times your bored in your life. Whether your on the bus, the train, at school, vacation (if your the serious gamer) maybe even your break at work. I mean portability isnt new but DS brings a hole new perspective to it.

The PSP is way better!

You should save up for the PSP then you can go on SEN with it when you have a WiFi connection!

I have Resident Evil: DS and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Don't get RE: DS, it was VERY boring. Castlevania is pretty fun also.

I don't have one yet, but I plan buying one when they come out. I'm thinking of getting Mario Kart and Metroid with wi-fi. Any suggestions for me?

And when is the release date? I'm to lazy to go look it up or figure out from 25 days when you posted.

Cool, the DS is probably quite fun even though I don't want one. You should try getting a TV in your car if you don't already. (For video gaming)

Well I might replace my old DS with the new DS. Also when does it get realeased or is it already released?

You know, I warned my friend that there might be a redesign soon, so she should hold off on getting a DS. After no news came last week, she decided to get one. I can't wait to share this little bit of news with her.

As for the redesign, it looks like they've moved the power button from next to the conrol-pad, which I think is a great idea. I'm used to it now, but when I first got it, I was shutting it off accidentally all the time.

I can't wait to see pictures of it. I'll definately be getting it but I'm a bit dissapointed. I was hoping they would fix the ergonomics of the design. Either way this is a welcomed improvement. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

its hitting america june 11th. There are about 10 other DS owners in my grade and I love rubbing it in their faces that theirs will soon be outdated.

there was a post about the nintendo ds lite a while back. well anyway, here's my opinion...i'm fine with the original ds ...its just nearly the same as the original. if it had some extra special features that makes it more comfortable playing on it, or something like attaching a mini-keyboard to it instead of the tapping for chatting. then i might go for the upgrade...

but i think it'd be redundant to buy one if you already have one. i'd bet though the price on it should be around the same of the original ds because no real change in it except for the size,weight, and color.

its like how they made the gameboy advance to the gambay advance sp system. it has the same function and plays gba games with the exception it being way smaller like pocket size, a rechargeable adapter, and background light. the regular gameboy advance has kinda bulky and you can attach it to have the functions as the sp does. sp is more portable since its smaller and lighter.

mario kart ds is pretty sweet, more fun online even though its only 4 players...heard metroid prime hunters was also good. when i bought the system, it came with a demo of it. seems like a pretty fun action shooting game.

don't get the lite, i love nintendo hate the ps/2/p cept for a the ocasional good game *COUGH FF7* but the lite sucks compared to the original. y? it has less memory, so you cant mod it as much plus it has a 73% brake rate compared to the original 34% brake rate, also the lite can't play GC games -.- so stick with the orig.

I think he is just messing around. I have the original DS and enjoy it. I will probably not get the Lite for to me its a waste since I already have one. If you do not have a DS then the Lite may be your ticket in. Thats just my 2 cents.

PSP isnt very "AMAZING OMFG THIS IS THE BEST THING i'VE EVER SEEN IN MY INTIRE LIFE!" like ppl say. my bro has one, its nothing special.

DS Pwns it in every way (Except graphics, big woo i dont care about INSANE GRAPHICS) in games. (thats why i still play SC lol) and ya, the Lite looks awesome. Since my old DS Broke imma buy one.

GC games? You mean GameCube? Because none of the portable systems has that ability yet.

Yeah if I owned a Ds regular, lite would be out of the question but I don't so thats why im so stoked for the lite to come out. 23 days!

I suggest getting Mario Kart, Advance Wars esp. if you have friends with it., & Metriod Prime.
