No Wooden, not you... most of the time. Screenshots from my Xenosaga recreation map, which I've only just started working on.
A cargo holding area leading to the prison cell.

not bad. you cant tell that you used floor traps

9/10 overall a very good peice. Maby i dont know what this map is sopposed to be but it looks like kinda boring.
Saweet! 10/10!

When you finish that map, PM me! And Wilhem, do you want to be teaching terrain?
Toothfariy, had you played Xenosaga (or atleast the level Pleroma) you would become so excited your balls would dribble out of your pants. If you want the map and the methods, I've got free time this weekend, I'll send some screenshots and map samples your way.

That was towards me, right? And, I want you to teach terrain on another site. You intrested?
That SCM School thing? That site uses red on a black background, my computer doesn't fire red pixels. So... I can't read alot of it. Yes, it was directed towards you.

It uses a green on black backround, there is not a lick of red on it... Its just like SEN's (but a lot simplier). Wilhem, sign up, and then you can change the colors on the screen.
Im thinking your map will ccmu with all those floor traps depending on if every room is like that. But I like them none the less.
Remember though, Inspecktah: I've only got one human player, leaving 11 players to use with a max of 255 units each, ie, 2805 units to use. Almost all of these are units, not sprites, due to walkability concerns and also for the sake of sprite conservation. There are only I'd say maybe 15 or so areas in this level, averaging around maybe 20-30 tiles wide/high.

You have 1400 total. That's the SC limit. No, isnt it 2040? ( im not exactly sure, so dont yell at me ) Please tell me why its only 1400.
And, minus the enemy computer players.
Im pretty sure that you can only place 1650 units in an editor and the map cant handle anything over 1750.
Good installation is my favorite
Didn't you have a different looking prison cell like a month ago? I liked that one better.
Believe me, it's blockier and I'm not going to bother with trying to fit it in. This is the least blocky way to do essentially the same thing.
It didnt look THAT bocky...
It also had some level issues, and it'd be alot of work to get the dimensions right. Believe me, I've tried, it's not worth putting the cell interiors in.
Ok. It seemed possible... And I sure did like that table/bench thing.
The table thing was one of glytcher's invention.

Good ole glytcher.

Good ole glytcher indeed.
Are you going to be posting more of this terrain?
Glytcher and Kamikaze.kow developed a lot of this stuff, but there is still more that has yet to be released.

Indeed!
Wow, each time I come back to post sum1 alrdy says something which I would of posted... omG 1 word responces are so ezay...

but ya, i just do alot of installation stuff now...
but back on topic those pieces are alright, pretty easy if you know what your doing and where to put the traps...
