ok so mathematical warns are a bad idea (I just read that topic) and stringent rules possibly lead to people abusing them, but how about at least having it as a rule that when someone gets warned or minerals deducted, they get a private message telling them why?

it would be much better really.. I have no idea why my warn level went to 40% and minerals suddenly went to -1, is this because of the smear campaign by DEAD in my welcome topic or what?

Usually there is a link to the post that led to the punishment. Look in your PM's inbox cairfully.

If you won't find anything there, sorry, then I don't know.

You can click on your Warn Level to view the log of all actions taken against you.

nope, nothing :/ I got one before when I got the first warning - 20% - for calling a topic Moose made retarded (I didn't notice the person that made the topic was the site admin at the time -_- ) but this time.. nothing at all

I really hope it isn't because of all that "bullcrap" (lol) because it really is (and I think it's basically just a way to attack me/try to get me banned by people who hate protection (quite a few of those who posted nasty messages on my welcome topic))

SEN does not support OSMAP in any way, so if you want to be a good member do 2 things:

1.don't flame/abuse/spam
2.don't talk about how OSMAP is great.

does warning level go down over time or is it permanant? do "reverse warns" exist at all?



I talked with moose about that in PM and apparently it's allowed to have an opinion (thankfully -_-) but linking to OSMap gets you an instant warning

of course when I got my warning for linking to OSMap I did not know this, cos it doesn't say anything about OSMap in any of the rules alright once you know the crowd really but pretty mean having unwritten rules like that for newbies

Usually, warn level doesen't go down... Maybe if you will create a flawless method against OSMAP, moose will make your warn 0%

Most moderators tell you what you got did wrong I think. (But I don't know I've never been warned).

And I'll agree with you. It wouldn't be very hard to program some Javascript that pops up a window saying something like: "You've been warned, click here to view the warn" or something, but it's nothing to cry about.

I just saw another topic in this forum by those two that was nothing more than an attempt to get me banned with no evidence whatsoever... magical "research" that's never said what it was and little else...

oh, and "you like OSmap, so you must be banned!" great logic...

Well you can start off by ignoring them. You can't do anything, it's not against the rules to accuse someone of being someone as long as they stay relvant to the topic. However some posts like "Quiet Shorty" is just plain spam. But I haven't seen them do that.
But what is against the law is OSmap it's widely disliked on this fourm and a member has already been banned for advertising. That won't change so don't try to make it change. And if you like OSmap that's great, no one cares. If there's one thing I've found out from arguing with DEAD (Not so much kellimus since I rarely do it) is that you get more of an open conversation from a wall, at least it can't be single minded. It jsut sits there.

But seriously guys there's no point dragging this on. If a mod ever finds out that your shorty or not, then they'll do something about it. And no matter what DEAD or Kellimus do will change that.

Sarah_K, EVERY significant moderation action taken against you is explained in your warn logs. And "topic that Moose made", you would've gotten the same thing in anyone's topic. There's no reason to make a post adding nothing to discussion then slapping 12 of the same image on it.

As for you handling Kellimus and DEAD, I keep saying this.

STOP posting about it in the feedback forum and report the posts where they "troll" you. I'm tired of seeing this spill over to forum discussion.

Let's clarify everything right now.



Every single log in your Warn Logs has explanation and a link or quote to what happened.



It's against SeN Policy and the SeN rules to provide links for Unprotectors, Hacks, Cracks or Illegal stuff of any kind. The Administration and Staff are the ones who made these rules, and quite frankly, some of us support unprotection. Don't blame a Community that attempts to follow the rules already put into place.



A rule broken is a rule broken, doesn't matter what intention it had. You don't get a free pass with the Police for killing somebody because they killed your brother.



Depends. Warns can only be modified manually.



We don't have to specifically write every single program that isn't allowed on SeN. Unprotectors means every single unprotector, doesn't matter what.



But the increase of the percentage in numbers should catch your attention anyways. Moderators will always make mistakes, there is no perfect moderator that does everything right. That's why you can see your logs, just in case we forget to PM you, you can see what we did.



You are no such person or in such position to decide who should get warned, banned or punished. Leave the punishment to the Staff. If you see a rule broken, just report it to us and forget about it, it's no longer your problem.



Stop whining about it and report it. We are not here to take care of you.
