I got bored, so I decided to have a terrain contest. You entrees will be due June 10[sup]th[/sup] And when entered you msut post which category you're working in.

The prices will be a surprise. (Might be minerals, might be images, might be items, excetera.)

No editing images for any purpose other than size.
~~Submitted images must be in JPG format.~~ < what the hell was I thinking? Just try and make it GIF format.
If any unfair doing is suspected you msut have an unprotected version of your map to send in.
I reserve the right to add, or remove any rules at any time with and/or without warning.
No whining.
If no respectable entry is submitted in a category no prize will be awarded.
Entries are scored out of 100.
Entries can be supmitted in more than one category.

Good luck for the tournament, but I doubt noone will join if they don't know the prize.

Is it only going to be a pick, or can I send the whole map? Cuz Im working on whole extended map right now.

I refuse to enter because the restriction of filetype to .jpg. If I'm submitting JPEGs they're going to be loseless JPEGs and the file is going to be big. There's no reason to restrict image types besides weird ones like .tiff or .bmp, and filesizes shouldn't excede x. I don't want to smudge my terrain into a miscolored mess.

Puzzling... But im going for the coastline landscape anyways. Good luck with getting people to enter... I tried throwing out 800 mins for the winner a while back and only got three entries... If you can match 800 mins you might get lots of entries.

If it gets over-nooby I'll post something in EVERY category. Seriously though, JPEGs can make blocky tiles seem to "blend" in.

wow that sounded awfully cocky of me... I meant to make fun of the prize... I should have said:

'Whatever the prize ends up being anyways.'

Oh well. Yeah, if you're going to hand out pictures i dont want to enter... But if there's something more material(minerals) and could be used(minerals) and might be a little more significant(minerals), but idk what your going to choose...(choose minerals).

There'll be a winner in each category, those winners are automatically put into the open category with whatever others were entered there. Entering straight into open is for experienced terrainists only.

I'll probably also annoucne which ones I liked most overall.

I'll also award bonuses for inovation.
