It seems there's a space between ".scx". Try removing it.

Is the file in use by another process when you are trying to save it (i.e. Starcraft or another editor)?

When you say you can work on it with Starforge, does that mean you can save it normally? This might be just an annoying glitch in X-Tra Editor, which I highly reccommend you switch away from.

Where in the world did you get that from? He didn't say anything about uninstalling anything.

well i didn't do it yet smile.gif

i uninstalled starforge and all its components, all thats left is Xtra Editor...

And yes, i am not switching from Xtra Editor to starforge

Xtra editors Special feature allows for alot of things starforge doesn't allow, plus its user friendly

Anybody help me please!!!

What can X-tra do that Starforge can't? confused.gif

And if you have a user-friendly issue, use SCMDraft2.

For your problem, why not just save it as a new file?
