I wasn't sure if this would go in Music and Sound or Games. So I decided to put it here. It's a simple question I decided to ask since I've had a recent idea of buying soundtracks a lot. Well, not a lot, but enough for me to make a poll about it. If you can list the soundtracks (of games) you have. I only have Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children, and Final Fantasy X, I like them both.
Not video games, but movies

I don't buy soundtracks, since usually there's only one or two songs that interest me. I just download the songs of intrest.
I have the soundtracks for Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII, and an orchestrated version of the entire Super Smash Brothers (or Melee, I'm not sure) Soundtrack. I enjoy them all.
I Dont buy them, i pirate them.
lol

I'm so getting those....damn you golden you beat me to AC

Dont sale them in Korea...Definately not in India.
Downloaded a ripped zip of all the sounds in C&C Generals ZH, expracted only BGMs, downloaded them to my MP3, liked it.
No, I don't buy soundtracks.
The only game soundtrack that I currently own is Warcraft III's and that's because I had bought the Collector's Edition, which already included the soundtrack. I never really got to listen it, it's just background music, much like the one in Starcraft.
I did download the Diablo II and it's expansion soundtrack's for use in a map, now those are some pretty good background music for RPG's and such.
I bought the soundtrack Mario Kart 64 back when it was still new. The music on the disc was a lot more souped up than what you heard in the game, strangely.
Never seen a soundtrack for a game :S

There ya go.
Or better yet, the games CD just plays it for you if you put it in a cd player, like they have the actual audio track.
Like Total Annihilation.
TA music is sOOOOOOOOOOO SWEEEEET.

I listen to Total Annihilation music, produced by Jeremey Soule I believe. Those songs are good

I listen to Hans Zimmer's soundtracks, pretty much, but they're for movies.

go lyon. the pirate master. i download them off a site...most of it is legal. I SWEAR TO THE SEN GOD

I don't care about the soundtracks. However, some of them can be ripped off the data folder for some games(like Advent Rising).
Yes I do listen to soundtracks and I don't see why they aren't as popular as the mainstream artists.
I mean, it's all about melodies and stuff and it brings memories in gaming.

Extract them from the games ROM or ISO

...Or MPQ.
It's just not worth it. listening to the same person over and over just isn't my thing. I believe Multi artist cds is the way to go.. not really downloading but if that's what it takes.. so be it.

Single people make entire soundtracks for games? This is news for me.
I dont buy them. I download em.
I download them because I am too lazy to go out looking for them, especially with gas prices this high, and my parents don't trust me buying anything off the internet. And it is simply alot easier.
