That's not a confirm price if there is none. "Less than $250" is not a price. But it's good to know.

I want to know how many controllers you get with the Wii and if you get any shells with it.

The low price looks like it'll give Nintendo a leg up on their competition this time around.

Im Sure nintendos gonna get ALOT of sales for the Wii, just cause of SSB Brawl, and any new zelda games...thats all they ever get there sales from >_>

Also there was a funny gag were someone said that the reason they called it "wii" was so that sony fanboys will say "wii suck" like "we suck". But thats not real story.

Thats what they said about gamecube, so i doubt it (for ssbm).

Im still qusetioning Wii a little bit.. Meh 3rd party developres will they really hop on this time. Gamecube was stronger PS2, meh but no 3rd party developers really cared... Nintendos console always have attention in the start. When gamecube came out everyone was like super mash bro melee wow! but 2 years later no games comes out expect 50 other mario sport title games...

PS3 really doesnt impress me either. Wow we got tilt... ok sure you go do that... I mean serioulsy tilt is just stupid, i guess its a decent replacement for the vibe; however, not all games will that tilt. I think people say oh vibe who needs that; but i remember star fox 64 with and without vibe. It personally made a lot of difference for me, and whole lot of others. But sony couldnt do anything about vibe, but still tilt is pretty stupid...

I think Microsoft doing right thing, they actually got hardware, software, and service. Like what they promised... First there not shoving HD-DVD's down our throat, they also seem to be getting a lot more titles. Also there xbox live is going pretty well, and not only that the price seems just right for lots of people. while in the other hand Sony is shoving hardware down our throats. I serioulsy coudlnt tell any difference between most games, and like everything they have shown were CG trailers anyway...

Well i think PS3 will do real good, just becuase of all its hypes and loyal Sony fans; however, it seems that there competition is tuff this time. Microsoft actually seems soild, might not come out first; however, seems like it will do alot better than what xbox did.

I think a lot of people will switch to nintendo because of its innovative controller and PS3's cost. They also might switch to 360 because they will be dropping the price of it soon.

With that price, the Revolution(Not the Wii!) is the only console I'd think of getting, unfortunatly I need a computer, though

3rd Party Devolpers didn't like making games for the gamecube because it was labled the worse controller (After the new xbox controller came out that is, before it was 2nd worse) and how it used UMD discs, which made certain games have to come out on two seperate discs, which is just annoying (Enter the Matrix, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes). And no online had it's deal of damage on the system.
The Wii is widely accepted by 3rd party devopers, including EA, Activision, and Ubisoft, all big hitter companies from last generation.

Nintendo is making a smart move, as price seems to be the only thing it could currently get better then the compitition at for this late stage of the game.

On GC Games:
Resident Evil 4 rocks my world, ive been a hardcore RE fan since 1 on PS1. The port to PS2 was purely for money and i condemn it.

Personally, i dont want a 360 or a PS3, i just want a Wii.

Yes, games would be the only thing holding me back from getting a wii.

They are looking to have a good launch line up though. Zelda, SSBB, Mario, and Red Steel are looking very good. I plan on buying Zelda for GC because I don't think zelda will work as well controll wise. SSBB, Mario, and Red Steel are going to own though.

Considering the system is 600 (unless you want to get the POS version), plus a couple games plus some extra controllers etc... will cost $800+, I wouldnt necessarily call it "ftw". Ya, nice games, but not all of us are that obsessed

GCN got a TONNE of sales from SSBM.



The last few years GCN got a few good games that were kinda overlooked.

Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Resident Evil 4, Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos 1 & 2, and GameCube had the best version of Soul Caliber 2.



Tales of Symhpnoia was better and was released the same year a few months before.

I thought that game sucked. But then again I rented it, and totally wasn't feeling the battle system, or anything.

To each his own, I liked it enough to beat it on a 3 day rental. That's ~59 hours of gameplay with no sidequests. My heart hurt afterwards.

I don't believe that game was very fun.. I didn't like the battle system either, it was just a bunch of button mashing. But eh, I was a newb

I didn't really like thar characters, especially the guy with handcuffs the whole game?

I wish he would've taken them off, if he would've the whole "losing" concept would be completely eliminated.
