When did Steam come about? Anyway, I like Half-Life 2 and CS: Source, though I've heard some good things about other Steam games. Altogether, Steam is essentially very easy to use, unlike some other online services.

Half Life and CS 1.6 ownz. I've only tried one other game though (the Darwinia Demo, sucked -_-)

wtf noobs, cs 1.6 is way better than source. more skill less luck. better accuracy. Who gives a freak about pretty crap? Game play baby. maybe thats why im a nintendo fan and not a freakin 360/ps3 noob....

I like good graphics, but don't mind old/outdated ones. The accuracy is what I hate. People always jump around corners and blow my head off with an AK from an insane range. How is that "skill".

Hmmm, so apparently the lack of riot shields makes Source a game for noobs. Because, you know, that's essentially the only change between 1.6 and Source. Besides, Half-Life 2's graphics actually aren't that taxing compared to some other games. For slightly less godly graphics than games like F.E.A.R., Half-Life 2 doesn't take nearly that level of a high-end system.

I like alot of Valve and Steam games, but I guess I have some favorites.

Half Life 2 is my favorite, I love this game. It was actually my first. And finally, Counter-Strike: Source is my second favorite.

It seems like people either love CS 1.6 or hate CS 1.6. Their is no "I think CS is decent".
