Since the "Other" category is getting filled up, I wanted to make a new category that applies to most of the maps in there so I can clean it out.

Welcome the new category: "Arena". This category only means that all the action takes place in a centralized area, and movement is restricted to there.

Its not an actual game style anyone is familiar with, because I made it up

So, I'll begin moving some maps there as soon as I can. Start submitting your arena maps

Also, I've changed "Melee" to "Melee / Melee Style" so we can have maps there that are simular to melee but played in UMS.

Yes, they would fit under that category.

However, I'm going to be very picky with Madness type maps. If its just a bunch of units being made with no actual variable gameplay, I'll refuse the file (theres hundreds of those).

Yes, because its in a square, confined arena where action takes place.

I would of put things like Tic Tac Toe and Chess there, but those are real games as well (which outranks "arena style"). So I kept them in other.

Couldn't we say the MAP is a square and stick any damn map in the category? Honestly, action takes place in a defined area (or places within that area) on any map. The category needs to be more specific.

Yoshi, you should stick "StarEdit Network Featured Maps" on top. Nobody notices it at the bottom. I moved it back and you put it back down.

Arena:
- The action takes place in a defined area.
- The players tryes to reach an objective there.
- Usually only one player wins.
- Usually there is no storyline.
