Is it possible to turn units into buildings with out mods?
Im not very goo at mods so im trying to avoid it. HAHA

I think it would work with EUDs, but you would have to downgrade to the right version.

I thought that too but then I realised, the unit will spawn right next to the building it was made from so if you remove it and create the building, you will get a unit unplacable so there is no point. Unless you teleport it real fast, there you won't be able to control it.
If you mean clicking the unit then clicking another button or something to turn it into a building then it is obviously no.

Man you people are mostly harmless... Just place teh unit, give teh location, and make it always tele there (move unit). And if you want it to stay and still shoot, just make it always tele to water (move unit). And if you want it to build, make a dropship on top of it or somewhere and make it so when u drop a unit it builds it. HAPPY? good.

its simple... Have a unit and have a trigger that moves the location on that unit if you command that unit.... So when you do the other trigger it will be w/e remove the unit create building... and the location will stay right there!

i just want units to be come a tower. thats pretty much wut im looking for.
Units are unable to move. but still be selectable and still be able to attack.
must work on multiple units

i couldnt get starforge installed. i tried 4 times. Uninstalling then reinstalling. it never worked for me.

Good, don't use it. You don't have to use a location outside of map; cliff/water/null also works.

Same way you do it to ground units; try to move them somewhere they can't go. Making an area full of air units/lifted buildings works. You can't truly stop air units this way though, the player can still move them slowly by rapidly clicking.

how about evolving a mutalisk into a devour? but when the mutalisks starts making a cacoon, remove the cacoon and make a turret or pylon or some 2x2 buildings size.
