I have a trigger...

Players: Player 3
Conditions: Player 3 command exactly 0 any unit
Actions: <not important>

Will this trigger fire if Player 3 is not in the game from the beginning ?

Yes it would make player 3 be cut out of the game even if somone is there. I would recommend that you add a game time is at least 5 or 10 seconds to make this occur after the game is already going!

So when you start the game you wouldnt lose player 3 because at the very beginning of a game it would go over the trigger and player 3 wouldnt own any units so it would kick him out. If you make the trigger wait 5 or 10 seconds it will give them time to get a unit!

Kick him out ? I'm not kicking anybody out.

I have 1 unit (flag) placed on the map for each player by default. No other units. I just want to test is the player in game.

7-7, please be more clear and plan out your responses better. I won't insult you here, but I trust you got my private message.

If Player 3 is not in the game when the game starts, no, the trigger will not run. Player 3 would need a start location, and a player to fill it in (be it human, computer, or neutral).

Oh, I thought you meant for testing to see who was in the game
