during the E3 press conference, sony spent a lot of time showing this service that will "rival iTunes". i honesty don't see myself buying music on my PS3...actually i cant picture ANYONE downloading music onto their PS3. iTunes is so much better!

Seconded. Why the hell would it need to play music, it's a game system. I've got a deal for Sony: take out this retarded feature, then use those savings to lower your console's price about... $400-500. Then maybe I'd actually consider buying it.

I used to upload music to my XBox to play custom playlists, but not all games supported that.
I don't think it's such a bad idea. A lot of music in games don't exactly meet my tastes, and they can sort of be embarrassing a bit. Especially love music and rap

yea i use the xbox music function at well. another factor to consider is can the music be listened or transfered to other things. if it can be transferred, than i may reconsider

Downloading music. This like another scam to tell people to stop dling music onto there computers. I have feeling this wont end well.

On 360 you can put ur ipod or w/e into the usb port and listen to it while playing watever game your playing. very useful if u hate the soundtrack or get bored of it.
