See this is how I feel! We learn in church that god will forgive all sins right? so why would god let one of his children be tortured for all eternity in hell. if i was truthfully sorry for some bad thing that I did, god always forgives. so how could god let something happen to one of us?

I believe that the afterlife is sorta similar to the life we live now! EVERYONE you knew will be there...that means the good or bad but they will be there in different forms. lets say there was some jerk you knew who was rich and stuff...well in this after life he would be poor and live on the street.

some might say they this contradicts what i said above. but i believe that if you do good things, you live a good life in this other world and if you do bad things you live not such a good life. but this "bad" person can do good things and learn from their mistakes and earn a better life.

What are your thoughts?

a possiblity. physics goes aginst this but i like the idea.

would we be able to remeber what we did in our past life? then how can we hope to improve if we dont know what we did.

that would be cool. but if this is true, i dont wanna be stuck as a guy forever! that would be cool if we could choose our next life. i'd like that.

well based on how good you were you could choose the life you wanted to life and your form. than the bad people would need to earn more respect from the "leaders" to choose thier life. yes you would remember your previous life...how else would you learn from your lessons.

i love that idea kinda. i got a good life now. i guess with that, its gona get better.

cause according to ur theory, this is a process that goes on forever. should we remeber what we did in our past life pior to this one?

I'm generally against the afterlife, but it would be so awesome if it existed. I would find a scientist guy up there to make a 'bridge' back to mortal earth, and... Just to let you know, I won't be merciful if you kill me .

well my theory is that it's a first start...but than again maybe we don't remember our past lives. only god knows the truth

well when ever i mention evolution or something they start like a 10 minute speech about how something happened to me as a kid and that god prevented me from dying or something....

dont fall for that crap. i've had over 20 near death expirences and i insult, curse out and talk so much trash about god. he has done squat.

god hasn't saved you. its the kind people that helped you.

well my parents also make me go to church and crap and you know sometimes when im lonely or sad i look to god for guidenece. i need someone to confide in...when my friends don't suffice

do you really belive he is there? are you seriously under the impression that there is a higher body in a celestial place? or do you still question it?


im not gona tell you what to belive, thats ur choice. im gona tell you that for me, it would be a waste to participate in church stuff. its nice they help the poor but for me it would be a waste of time.

the truth of the matter is is that whether we believe iin him or not, we have "someone" to talk to when we need to talk to someone. it calms us inside...it doesn't matter whether or not someone is listening or not...its the thought that someone is listening

Hard to explain, but there's a few events that I really don't think I had any control over but they came out fine, and they weren't because of other people, it was just me alone.

Umm, I think you die and nothing happens. People believe in what they want to believe, but I dont even believe in god so I am not much of a believer. I dont think thatm anything out of the ordianry is beyond your death I just think you just dont exist anymore like you dont exist on earth. Like when your sleeping, you just dont dream, you remember nothing and nothing ever happens, for the rest of humanity!

if you think about death that way....death turns into something very scary. .......................................
