I need a really good name for an Ocean. Something not to corny like: The Ocean Of Death or the Ocean of Uber Spooky Doom. C'mon... Something that makes you want to 'fear' it I guess... It can be as long as you want, you can list a billion names, just nothing that looks East European like Cjokia or Svolka or some crap like that. Something cool.

Yup. Mantanca (with the thingee) is Portugese for kill

Most of those are Latin though. I put in some weird ones, too. 'Gauisus' is Latin for happy, but I think it sound pretty menacing if you don't know that

West Europena portmanteu of the German words for Eerie and Feeling. If you want a name done right, do it in German.
