What do you think of walls that look like this:
[attachmentid=19227]
Needs a little work, but if this were repeated would it look really bad?
ADDITION:
BTW, I deffinatly won't be using straigh bridge tiles for the floors.
It would look better if you blended the floor right into the wall, you might want to try that.
ya it's had it's blocky spots but it's alrigt looking as far as im concerned.
but u shouldnt' use bridge tiles. they make it look blocky

Hence the 'BTW, I deffinatly won't be using straigh bridge tiles for the floors.' lol its cool though. Im probably going to use runes.
Still can not make square houses I see. Anyway its decent what you are doing.

Tried that... it doesn't look very good, cause there aren't any *perfect blends.
Actually... I managed to blend straight up to the wall... It isn't that hard.
O:
Keep searching young one.
it looks a little too repeated ya know?
maybe if there was just more things u could put instead of that temple door thing
and theres a few blocky spots that i wouldnt want repeated alot it would make them more noticable
its pretty good, in my opinion, i like it?
Im thinking about doing a few other things with it as well.(still looking for a blockless way to blend strait to the wall...)

So have I, and so has Wilhelm, its not hard. It just takes a bit to search for the damn tiles.
I kinda got something to work, but I'm almost 99% sure there is a better way to do it. This topic needs to be discarded...
