You create it using either SCMDraft Or Starforge by placing similair colored tiles that blend together to make a scene/object/place.

The easiest way for you to get extended terrain would be to get someone to give you thier brushes or their databases. The best way to get the extended terrain you want is by making your own.

For the creating your own extended terrain part, i use Starforge2.2 (I think its 2.2) were you can get in the DLDB (download database) For Starforge tips and FAQ theres a section about it in the forums here on SEN were you can read up on it, same goes with SCM Draft. While in SF when laying out your terrain you should see on the left hand side were it shows a square piece of all the different terrain types terrain in your current tileset. You access sqaure mode by clicking a button under the sqaure pieces which allows you to make sqaure pieced terrain anywhere, when in this "mode" you click another button that says "Palette" or something like that in a similar area, this lets you choose every tile from all the terrain on your tileset by clicking on the tile, and clicking in the terrain. By using tiles to blend together in a way not able to make in starting SC editor Staredit you create extended terrain, thats probably most the information you need. happy.gif

WoodenFire offers lessons for high prices of minerals, but seeing as you have none, it won't work out.

my suggestion just copy what other people have done just to practice. but dont post them as your own. infact dont even post them if u are just using it for practice

Yep.

50,000 minerals per lesson. Thats my price.

O:

Visit the following locations created by me. The first is my example database of terrain maps, I would recogmend downloading and learning every nook and cranny on all of those maps... Then I would recogmend visiting my old ladder for terrain making which I will soon be recreating as a much better compatition where you may submit maps, ingame screenshots, out of game screenshots, minimap displays, anything terrain releated, ISOM/ Extended/ BOUND, and I will place them on a ladder collected by your name, the best piece from all of your choices to show me will be placed in order under your name and as you climb the ladder, you can gain minerals.

I will have a major thread starting for that probably in 2 weeks after my school is out.

Good luck with your terrain practice and hopefullyou you may join us continually on the terrain forums.
