After reading the post about dreams about end of the world it reminded me about the war dreams I used to have when I was 5-10 years old. I've had four different scenario's that I can actually remember.

One involved me being the only one at soccer practice (we practiced out in an open field by a school) when all of a sudden some planes flew by and dropped thousands of mini-red parachutes with 'bombs' attached to them. I woke up right before one of them was about to land next to me.

Another one involved our whole 5th grade class outside for recess, when all of a sudden a blimp dropped a big metal thing. Everyone tried to run, but when it hit the ground nothing happened. Then the plane came low enough to the ground that you could hear the piolet ask if everyone was alright. Everyone was on the ground afraid to move (I dont understand this one at all).

Third one is vivid. I'm at a military base in the middle of a jungle somewhere and there is a plane. The army is loading the plane up with soldiers and boxes, and I was the piolet. I remember flying the plane into the air feeling as if I was confused about what my mission was, and I woke up.

In the fourth one, the one I remember best; I am about 5 years old, sitting on my kitchen counter next to the sink, when I look out the window and see a plane flying fairly low. Then the plane launches a missle to a plane flying toward it. Then more planes come and more planes come. They are crashing everywhere, all above the air space in my backyard.

I've had a lot more but I can't think of them right now.

Considering that at the time that I had these dreams I was too young to know anything about true warfare, especially nuclear warfare; I think that in a past life I fought in WWII or Vietnam.

IMO, I think war dreams are a way of helping your unconscience mind cope with war experiences in a prior life.

i have had some wild war dreams lol

like there was one where i was at my cousions house and we were on their swingset and a crapload of foxes came out of nowhere and started to topple the set. i fell off and they bit me. i suppose i got some strange form of rabies cause all i could see what shades of red and orange. then it was like i couldnt contral what my body way doing. at this point, somehow, i was a fox with them. we went and attacked the white house. idk how we got there considering my cousions house is in the middle of utah. we just walked like a block and we attacked Clintion. we all ate him. and then basicly, we all morphed into our human selves. it was weird. then i woke up and it freaked me out.

i had another where i was Khardgar, from warcraft 2, and we were under seige by the orcish horde. and some weird turn of events, i was in an all out brawl with Grom Hellscream. i lost and was taken to Deathwing's lair. he apparently didn't like me, so he brethed a fireball on me. i woke up and was sweating perfusly. like A LOT OF SWEAT. get my point?

then there was another only it wasn't exactly a war dream. it was kinda like war of the worlds, only really far into the future. we were driving to colorado and we were on an overpass that was ENORMAS. like it had to have been 4000 ft from the ground. we were on the top when one of the walker things shot at the overpass. it vaporized car behind us and my mom thought it was an exelent idea to drive off the side of it. so we were falling in what was now my high tech metal coffen of doom, i basicly swallowed my stomach and threw it up. you know the feeling when u forget to do something of grave importance or u almost die, it was that feeling. so we were doomed and then we hit and OMFG IT HHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRTTTTTTTT. i woke up and my heart was like beating like a mechine gun. i didn't sleep get back to sleep after that dream

sure thing..

I think dreams are weird. I don't really understand how they occur i know it has to do a lot with chemicals. Also i know a little about such as.. When you dream about death it could about life or somthing bad going on in your life and such. I don't believe in Telling furtures with dreams -_-.

Those were pretty weird... especially the second one tongue.gif
I don't have many dreams that mean anything, but here is one of my dreams..

Uhh.. I was walking down the sidewalk with my brother and he was about to get stung by a bee so I did a slow motion jump to push him out of the way and out of nowhere a spider came out and bit me and I died..

I was scared of insects and stuff as a kid tongue.gif

I still remember my first nightmare, I was in this green sewer like dunguen with pipes that had spikes on them. I could get out but it was up a ladder; I went up through this hatch, then all of a sudden it turned to third person view and I saw crucifixes in the distance and two roman soldiers who walked past the hatch right before I opened it. After I looked out I saw something that scared dream me back into the sewer prison and I accidently hit one of the pipes, it broke with ease for some reason but it started to spew poisonous gas and I tried to cover it up without touching the spikes, and then I woke up. That was the only time I ever woke up in an upright position sweating a lot.

Since ppl are telling not just war related dreams i suposse i can tell about my sleep paralysis experiences, and other weird stuff (i've heard of the sleep paralysis pretty recently, though the dreams are a couple of years old)

So here i was dreaming: it was a medieval war, (i actually remember seeing just a couple of seconds of it) and i felt like i was watching it from a tv, because the angle and stuff really reminded me, the TV movies. So the battle went on, and then one of the soldiers turned to me, and made an evil smile, like he knew i was watching him, even though it (supposedly) was just a movie, so he looked at me, and for no reason i got very scared, he just looked, and i was scared as hell, then the weird part: suddenly i understood that it is a dream, and i felt i was in my bed, i'm quite sure my eyes were open, but i didn't see my bed, instead i saw some strange black and green circles swooping in like a portal or sth, and there was some strange sound i can't explain which was very loud, i couldn't understand why no one else heard it, i wanted to get up and run, but i felt i was paralysed, so i was just laying there looking at those circles and listening to the weird pulsating sound, for some time, then it all ended, and i see i'm standing in my Grandmother house balcony (note: now everything looks like a dream again) and i notice an alien standing too, somehow i'm not scared at all, and i see that meteors are coming down from the sky, then i wake up, and still am paralysed for some time, and i know for 100% i'm not asleep, then the paralysis fades away..
Now the alien in the balcony was nothing close to real, it was surely just an imagination, the weird part is when i was sure i'm awake.

i dreamt, a similar dream again, and it had another "mind distortion thing" (like the man knowing i'm watching him, even though it's a movie) again, and the green, black circles were about to start, but by the time i already had the ability to awake in a dream if u don't wan't to continue dreaming, well i guess u know that ability, so i woke up.

Some time later, i had just dreamed of a white/blueish cloud, and i was sure my eyes are open again, but i wasn't paralysed, then i woke up with a bleeding nose...

I was sure this had to do sth with aliens, because the paralysis is really freaky, but later i saw some kinda TV program about Sleep disorders, and that explained my paralysis, still is freaky though ...

I can strongly relate to your feelings with 'dream paralysis,' Ermac. I've experienced it many times when I was younger. Dreams that shattered the barrier between reality and thought. I've had dreams where I was trapped and I felt the sensation of shrinking, growing smaller, into something insignificant. It was such a strange feeling, a cross between dizziness and falling. I've had dreams were I was trapped under something, something stupid (my blanket rooled up into a ball on top of you) but you are conscious of everythign around you (reality) but you are still stuck in your dream world where you are weak and cannot move this simple obstruction. I've had dreams that pass through my vision like I'm watching a T.V. but you are wide awake but yet dreaming still. Your sweat and your running in your bed doing what your dream was doing. It is like your subconscious has taken over your mental and physical capabilities while you (the awake side) is just a bystander with no powers to wake yourself up. Very very scary and creepy.

I've also had dreams that show exactly what you are going to do in the future but you always forget it until it happens. When it does happen you are like "Wtf? I think I did something like this already..." Dreams are very frightning (my experiences) but very intriguing.

About war dreams, I rarely have them but if I do it usually relates to a war game that I have played. It is funny how you 'feel' the gun (like the AK-47 or a M4a1) in your dream reflects how you hold the gun in real life. For example I've personally never held any real gun in my life so in my dream I can feel the guns being extremly light, like a toy gun (which I've held many times before) and when I shoot there is no recoil.

Next time you go to bed and have a dream, try your best to remeber the dream when you wake up and interpret your dream. A lot can be learned from your dreams because they reflect your emotions and feelings in life at the moment. There is a very deep hidden meaning in your dream, it is like a really good book with a strong and deep moral where the reader must find out for him/herself.

I have crazy sex dreams
but nothing like war
except this one time where it was gym and for a game i was this piolet of a hang gliding bicycle and i had to drop these purple energy bombs that would destroy these purple energy balls my classmates were holding
so i was like flying around dropping energy bombs and they would explode and the energy balls like evaporate and then i won by destroying all the energy balls and i woke up
it was cool..

but my sex dreams are better biggrin.gif
