Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Teleporting units and moving

If you teleport a unit, it will try to move back to its original location, right? Is there any way to prevent this? Yea, i know issuing order for that unit to move back should work, but for some weird reason, it doesn't work for me. I teleport a comp-owned queen from location A to B. B is surrounded with 4 locations: 1, 2, 3, and 4. I have another trigger that always orders any unit owned by comp at 1 to move to B (and the same for the other 3 locations). The queen manages to get back to A. confused.gif

Yes, the 4 surrounding locations have air checked; yes, the order trigger is preserved; yes, the trigger is for the right player. What's wrong?

You can try moving it from B to B after moving from A to B. That way, it just moves there.

Maybe you don't have hypertriggers so they don't fire fast enough?

What I would do is put one big location over B and order all queens at that big location to move to B, instead of making 4 separate ones. This way, even when the queen is in B, it's still ordered to move to B so it probably won't have enough time to try to run away.

Hmm, that just might work! I'll try when I get a chance.

No, I have hypers, and yeah, I tried the big location too.

Edit: Yeah, it works! Thanks.
