i dont realy mind if its my idea or not, but what would make a defence, spacifically a turret defence, different from all others. i mean i have some stuff in there but nothing realy sets it aside from all the other defences maps. nething u guys would like to see in there? something u think would give it its own special lil shine? i was thinking about putting a whole other island on the map and makin it kinda like a hunder/seeker thing to get extra civs, but two things changed my mind. 1)even if i put the map in 64x64, and resize to make it 64x128 it would b to small on the minimap while in the game to make ne difference. and 2) it would take to much attention off of the defence. but something like that, or just NE idea to distinguish it from the others. can neone help out?

most defense maps are the same nowa days. im tired of seeing the same thing on each turret defense.

make some other goal to win the game. like the dirty tank defenders. those were a hit cause they gave high insentive to win.

im not saying put porn in there or ne thing but do somthin like that.

or make the turrets have speical effects or some cool way to buy them.

how about like you have different air units that dont attack air. then you start creating a turret underneath the unit. then at slow speed you can remove the turret and create it under the unit again simutaniously. then use money to create a better air unit that can attack or you can buy the speed of the remove and creation of the turret.

most turret defences are alot alike.... but this is all i know that can be possible to be different

thats not a bad idea.. i guess i can build off taht. there are probe secrets for cannons and stuff, and im also gonna but a bunker option on there. only thing is there are only a couple units that are airborne but dont attack air, what happens when u run out?

alrighty then...about the civ idea, sounds alright, but why dont you make a random unit generator for finding civs and bringing one to a beacon you know? That would be kewl, then the units could help with the defence.

great ideas truly, i can use some of these, since im a newb at making maps, and im making the first one i made which is ganna be finished in about...... 2 weeks or so but thanks for the ideas cool1.gif
