MPQ Viewer
I import the sound(s) from MPQ Viewr off of the Install.exe file on my cd,
I rename the sound(s) then put them in a folder.
I open the files with Scmdraft2.0 use Highest Compression Virtual and not Virtual.
Then Press the "Play Selected Button" and....
No sound plays, So i put it in a trigger and play the sound in the game... but no sound plays....
My volume on the speakers is turned up, The game options sounds are all at max, and the correct boxes are checked.
I can play the Wav's in and music player from the files in the folder i imorted from, and i can play the files in MPQ
But they wont play in ScmDraft or Starcraft Broodwar... Why!??!?!?!??!?!

Why don't you just use the MPQ sounds that are in SCM Draft? And sometimes you need to reimport a sound into SCM Draft because it messes up for some reason. But the list of sounds at the bottom of the sound editor is the same thing as the ones from the CD.

X-tra can't always support things you have in a map, the map I have going I need to have sounds and if I open it in SCM Draft alot of my unit placement will be messed up. Just an annoying process.

Thank you very much, i re imported the sounds with xtra and it worked!!!
The sounds i am using are game briefing speeches, not located in the regular scmdraft list, ty anyways
